Loved the sheer delight on his face afterwards. To score like that, for his local team, and against a hostile crowd (what was left of it) must have been a crazy buzz.

We look a stronger team - for my money - when he's in it.

Should have played v Man City and Liverpool

Best thing about the last few matches is that Rodgers has learnt his lessons and acted , would expect few mistakes now. Tielmans may require a firm but necessary decision soon though.

Agree. Very pleasing. Against Norwich, he made the changes in the first half after seeing his tactics not working and learnt from it, instead of the stubbornness we saw with Puel and other managers. He is top notch.

Buzzing for Hamza with that. Took a lot of unfair flack from the home support for his part in the situation that Ritchie flared up in the Cup tie. Silenced them with a superb strike. Lovely stuff.

I was at the game and it was an incredible moment. A game sealing goal will always bring a great reaction from our fans. However, with it being the local lad Hamza, the abuse he'd received from home fans and it being such a brilliant strike, our fans went crazy.

Was unsure if this would end up being an OTT summarization of Hamza, but it felt fairly accurate.

Henderson is the only guaranteed spot currently. Rice has been poor, Winks absent from Spurs, Dier isn't up to standards, Barkley out since September 2nd and the Ox unable to stay fit. Only Maddison and Mount play regularly.  So, why not call up Hamza? Even for a closer look during the international friendlies.

But as the article mentions, Southgate has his favourites, so I doubt it.

He will pick the players he trusts .....he owes rice so will select him ahead of hamza. In addition, hamza isn’t playing too regularly and blotted his copybook last summer .......

Be really interested of the squad he picks in just over a months time. A lot of his trusted players are out of form/favour or injured. Can see Alli being recalled, but rest of midfield needs experimenting with.

Of all of pur excellent young players, Hamza has the most potential in my opinion.

Totally agree, of all our 'stars' I would be least worried about Ndidi leaving because of the potential I can see in Hamza. I really believe he could become one of the best in the world.

Just can’t see him experimenting a few months before a tournament .... I could easily see dele being recalled

Hamza had a good game yesterday though he didn't quite have the killer pass or shot that I think Rodgers looked for from the team as a whole. His industry is immense, good fitness as he covered the most ground from what I saw. He made himself available all over the pitch which was good to see, covering our full backs and was always an option down the flanks, particularly left side, in an attacking sense.

Brilliant when he came on, should have a few starts now following Wilfs injury, far better than Winks, Dier & Barclay but the watching Southgate will ignore him and Maddison...

As I’ve said elsewhere he needs to play with Ndidi out. The midfield needs balance.

Also seems to have curbed crashing into tackles recklessly since coming back into the squad which is reassuring.

Played well tonight.

I thought he changed the game tonight. He upped the tempo massively and gave their midfielders something to think about where it had become too easy for them.

I actually quite like Dennis Praet but there's no way he should starting over Hamza. Hamza is much more of an all rounder and affects the game in a way that Praet is yet to show he can. Should have started imho.

On form Praet should be Starting ahead of Tielemans
