Never really been given a decent run in the team.. cool calming influence on the ball but we never seen to want or fit that in to our team for some reason..

With Silva obviously going back to Sporting it seems, we need reinforcements..... Now, not during the summer..

Seems odd considering Silva and King are also probably off and James is permanently injured. Surely we'll be bringing someone else in?

I would imagine that's the plan, Puel hasn't bought a single CM since he was here. Were struggling to get the right fit in there for what we need, so a total clearing of the decks not only opens the path for Hamza, but gives us the freedom to make a move for another player who Puel thinks will fit what he wants.

Can't understand how someone of his experience can't get a look in. As with Silva i'm disappointed neither have got their chance. I thought both were quality signings with a pedigree we wouldn't have attracted not too long ago. Shame.

Not really a CM though

Bit of a daft signing for that fee at his age, not a bad player but not really the right fit for us. Hopefully we can recoup most of the money and sign a more mobile and positive passer

It will certainly knock a fair bit off the wage bill- I would imagine Iborra, Silva and King are all on at least £50k a week.

Was probably the wrong move for both the player and the club.

He has done well and worked hard so fair play to him, deserves to be with his family and playing out his career in Spain that what he is accustomed to and age isn't on his side to start adopting to English football life.

I like Iborra, but he's never really had a consistent run of games and doesn't really fit Puel's style of play.

He's a good option to have on the bench with his experience but he needs to be playing regularly.

I wish him well at Villarreal.

I think he's exactly the sort of players we need... just more mobile and younger!

Surprised and saddened. I think he is a good alternative to N'didi in some games. Certainly much more of use to us than Silva or King. As others have said we must be getting someone in if we are letting both he and Silva leave.
