Either all the attacking coaches at leicester need sacking or the manager needs to go. We are atrocious at times. Wish we had our team back that gave a shit
Robin JD Popley Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Absolutely no qualms, Newport deserved that. I just hope Top is brave enough and now gets rid of him. PUEL OUT!!!
winteriscoming Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Anyone who thinks we have a good squad only has to look at this game. We don't.
daverollo Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well played Newport. Thoroughly deserved and a brilliant performance from them. its clear we have no suitable forwards apart from Vardy. Can’t help thinking a battering ram like Slimani would have got on the end of one of the 47 balls we through into the box - bring him back and pay Man City to take Nacho back ?

Would say the standard puel out but what's the point he's going no where. We won't sign anyone this month by the looks of things and are stuck with players like nacho who don't give a fk about Leicester. Depressing ain't the word for how appalling that display was and Puel's constant bullshit tactics selections and subs. You are right about the season feeling about over. We’ll finish mid to upper table and have no cup run. Disappointing to say the least
foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 We aren’t maximising our chances in the cup competitions, why play such a weakened team? Sure we should have won but it would be more likely with more regular first team players.

Every other aspect of his game left a lot to be desired He was everywhere. showed desire and attacking attitude. If Gray had come on and tried as hard or Nacho we probably wouldn't have lost
Deebhoy Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 I know nurses who work 60/70 hours week. They're assaulted, verbally abused see people dying. They work under incredible pressure. Yet football managers seem to think footballers can't play two 90 minute games a week. What a joke. Season over in early January.
StanSP Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Disgustingly bad. Far too many passengers in the game and too many consistent under-performers. Just further emphasises that we need a striker. I'd tried to give Iheanacho the benefit of the doubt for so long now but it's clear that even today he doesn't want to be here and won't play to the best of his ability. Okazaki is done in our squad. He doesn't fit our style and is totally ineffective in most games. Ghezzal has the goal to save him from being totally chastised but even up to then he was dog shite. Albrighton was just stupid for the penalty. James I'd happily never see in a Leicester shirt again. Can understand he's gone through a tough time but there was absolutely no point in him playing today considering he's unlikely to play ahead of other players. Piled on the pounds and got run ragged in midfield, shite first touch. The defeat has angered me because we could have done so much better today.

Dahnsouff Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 One of those performances where you expect the players to fess up and apologise. Sad really...
cropstonfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well done Puel.Lack of respect for the F A cup.
yorkie1999 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Don’t normally call for managers to be sacked but this bloke is just a liability in his team selections. You pick your best team if you’ve nothing else to play for, end of. We’ve got half a season of pointless football, may as well get a new bloke in and give him a chance to do something while nothings on the line.
Izzy Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Aaannndddd the texts and messages start arriving from mates of other clubs - lovely. A night of piss take and humiliation to look forward to
bfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Puel definitely takes some of the blame here. He knows the confidence level and ability of his players, he knows if a select 11 players can play well together and to his standards. He's also had 1.5 YEARS to get us playing a good standard of football. We know full well we can't control games against PL sides who park the bus and now we know we can't do it against league 2 sides. I'd rather have us dispatching the the teams below us more often than only scalping top 4 teams each season. But most of the blame is on the horrendous finishing today... real ****ing shit
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Pretty sure Puel doesn’t coach Okazaki to miss an open goal or all of the other tame finishes. Players have to take some responsibility here.
woollett the bullet Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well played Newport We looked exactly what we were , a rag tag team collected from the transfer list , reserves and treatment room.
TheSomersetFox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 3 minutes ago, AKCJ said: Shameful. None of the players deserve their wage. They ought to pay the fans back for that. Dont think I’d give anyone above a 2/10. Albrighton in particular needs a serious bollocking for that pathetic attempt to stop the cross. Absolutley amazing chance to get through to the next round of the Cup and we have totally bottled it. Puel can **** off now. The FA Cup is all that Leicester fans care about now and he’s just taken a massive steaming turd on us with that selection and those tactics. 1 hour and 30 minutes of punting it long is a disgrace for a Premier League club playing at this level. We have no identity and no soul in the club. I honestly believe that they won’t be in that dressing room upset. They’ll be taking their selfies and doing their hair whipping each other with wet towels in the shower. Wankers. Make them walk home. Christ get a grip. Shite performance but why question their character? Don’t know how many times these lads have shown us they care. Stupid comment
oxtonfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Shearer is spot on; rested players for Carabao Cup and lost then we do the same in the FA Cup and lose again! We get what we deserve but it's the fans who are let down.
The Doctor Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 3 minutes ago, Nod.E said: .Look, we're 7th. But Puel's ability to change a game when we need to find a goal is severely lacking. That's the squad he's been left to an extent. What options do we have? Beyond Vardy there's no senior striker (Nacho is clearly a number 10, Okazaki is past it), we've got 3 senior wingers who are probably good for 5 assists a season between them. Squad depth is appalling
kingfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 You just had the feeling we were going to lose today. Puel will get the blame, all the talk will be about Puel out but those players need to take the majority of the blame today, absolute stupidity from Albrighton, absolutely shit finishing when going forward. It's another game that proves our depth isn't good enough, James is done, Ghezzal got the goal but didn't really impress, Okazaki is done, Iheanacho is one of the biggest frauds in football. You either give him this transfer window or sack him now.
vanity Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Just now, Paddy. said: The thought of Vardy copping a serious injury is a frightening prospect. We'd be absolutely ****ed. We are wholly reliant on his health. Completely, totally reliant. We obv won't get relegated this season if he were to go down with our point tally, but if he had been out from the start of the season, we might be closer to the drop than mid-table. And that is on the people who make the decisions on building the team. Iheanacho is a joke, and Man City is laughing their arses off at us. God, such a Leicester result today. It honestly has already stopped bothering me it is so ridiculous. At first we defended arrogantly, then stupidly late. So it goes.

Terry_Cochrane Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Congratulations to Newport. Deserved winners but Im sick to death of the decision to field weakened teams for the FA Cup. Puel is not alone doing this but it still boils my urine. We are in little danger of going down so the Cup represented our own opportunity of winning anything. We are now faced with 3 months of ticking up to 40 points Er that’s it.
djskydiver Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Where was Vardy today? Should have been on the bench as a minimum even if he doesn't play.
