Mayofox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Fifty years now since we reached the final. Fifty. I feel sorry for you young 'uns, cause you will probably never know the feeling.

shen Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 I'm flabbergasted, but instead of going off on one, I'll want to congratulate Newport. This must feel fantastic for them and their performance deserved a replay at the very least. It's worrying how poor our team was today. All of them, bar James and King, have had minutes in the first team recently, yet none actually showed that they deserved to start in the league. Disappointing that we didn't want it more.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Just now, AKCJ said: Shameful. None of the players deserve their wage. They ought to pay the fans back for that. Dont think I’d give anyone above a 2/10. Albrighton in particular needs a serious bollocking for that pathetic attempt to stop the cross. Absolutley amazing chance to get through to the next round of the Cup and we have totally bottled it. Puel can **** off now. The FA Cup is all that Leicester fans care about now and he’s just taken a massive steaming turd on us with that selection and those tactics. 1 hour and 30 minutes of punting it long is a disgrace for a Premier League club playing at this level. We have no identity and no soul in the club. I honestly believe that they won’t be in that dressing room upset. They’ll be taking their selfies and doing their hair whipping each other with wet towels in the shower. Wankers. Make them walk home. Seldom read such a load of crap, even on here...
ealingfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Season over in the first weekend of January. Can't believe it. What is the point in going anymore? We don't try and put cup runs together, we're shite at home. Is it worth shelling out for 4 out of 5 games in the hope of picking up a good result on the road in the 5th? I'm so upset and angry with that. Absolutely took the piss playing James. Okazaki and Iheanacho horrendous. Morgan couldn't be arsed.
grobyfox1990 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well done Newport. Amazing 10/10 effort from all of their players, good luck to them. So we got knocked out in the 3rd round instead of the 5th or 6th, absolutely were never going to win the cup. One of those days. But I am defo booking a weekend away somewhere on 26/27 jan now....
maddog Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 7th in Premier league, best of the rest. We are in our highest possible league position after 20 games. Its a poor and ageing squad, big player personnel changes needed. 6-8 players at minimum need to be sold.
cropstonfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well done Puel.Lack of respect for the F A cup.

Tielemans63 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 The thought of Vardy copping a serious injury is a frightening prospect. We'd be absolutely ****ed.
justfoxes Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Diabolical performance far too many changes looked like some were not up for it We have no one to replace Vardy to get the goals upfront, sorry but CP does have to take a large amount of blame for the team choices picking players that just aren’t good enough !! Definately need to rebuild in the summer Nacho has disappointed far Too often Ghezzal got a lucky goal we just didn’t look up for it at times !! Really wouldn’t surprise me if CP lost his job over that awful result !

We were very unlucky and kudos to Newport who did exactly what was needed to win. What this game has shown is we are need more depth in the squad and many players cleared out. We had chances, but my god were shite, but you could tell, we were never going to do a spurs, we lacked conviction and real determination and tactically we took a premium team and made it worse then a league 2 team
The Guvnor Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Congrats to Newport, played really well. Lost for words with our team and Manager.
vanity Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 1 minute ago, Duncan_K said: Terrible selection, terrible performance. How the F is this terrible selection? This team had 5-7 shots from practically point blank and our players were hapless, absolutely pathetic. You want Claude to wipe their arses too? When you get an open look at goal from 5 feet, you need to fuching put the ball in the net. That is not on the fuching manager for god's sake. This team should've won this 4-2 at worst. We had no trouble getting excellent looks at the goal. The problem is just about nobody on our team can finish but Vardy and Maddison. We are exceptionally poor at finishing, it is just the reality of our personnel.
Fightforever Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Iheanacho should never play a game again. We can't go to europe forget it. Even if we do our squad depth isn't even league 2 quality as seen here.

samlcfc1 Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Regardless of wether the team selected should of been enough, after the Man City defeat and the flack he took I really thought he’d play a lot stronger! Individually the players we played were better than theirs’s but we can’t just chuck them in and expect them to play together as a team against a team who play together week in week out. Embarrassing
Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 3 minutes ago, don_danbury said: kelechi the worst player on the pitch On that performance I’d say he was probably the worst player to play this entire weekend.
reynard Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Newport deserved that. Play our best 11 and we win disresepect the opponents and the cup and this is what happens. Two dreadful managerial decisions 1 to play James who offered nothing and clearly wasn't fit to play 2 Bring on King when we need a goal. King has been told he can leave why was he even in the squad? Albrighton is not a right back and should never be played there again. At fault for the penalty and didn't look comfortable. If as a club we don't show some ambition in the cup competitons we have no chance of keeping good players who want a chance to win things. And to those recruiting, for god's sake buy some players who can bloody well score goals. Okazaki can leave now as far as I'm concerned and yet again Gray offered nothing. Too many players not good enough and a manager who made some poor selection decisions today.
Foxhateram Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Terrible. Out of both cups and not much on in the league, Season over by January again. That team should have been strong enough to beat them, some players looked like they genuinely couldn't be arsed. Nacho's last chance for me today, absolutely shite. Literally reeling. Back to the league duties I suppose. I am happy with our progress really and think we have amazing potential, the future is bright. But it is so frustrating right now.
Langston Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Well done Newport. Congratulations to Claude and (bar Hamza) the completely spineless twats he put out there today for our worst result since Wycombe.
