You said that last time.

If someone says it after every defeat, someone will eventually be right.

Probably the wrong time to post this as the game is still fresh and feelings are raw. But change is needed, i still believe he has done alot of good for the club and has given us a team another manager can work with and expand on.

However something isnt clicking and we just cant be this unlucky at home... 1-4 to PALACE ffs...

Problem comes though is who do we replace him with, I'm not overly impressed with whats been suggested in previous threads and the best of a bad bunch is perhaps Brendan Rodgers and if he comes at all, its not going to be till next season.

He can give Benkovic a lift home....

That’s not going to happen, should of bought a striker to fit his style in the last two windows.

Vardy signed a new contract in the summer.Even Nacho had a decent pre-season.Things have changed a bit since.I simply don’t think the funds are there to bring in a PL ready striker in Puels mould.Ok Slim.He hates it here and I think the feelings mutual

Yes you do...when you inherit a poor squad..

No you are paid to experiment on the training ground and have the answers by match day.

Totally clueless and living a dream to satisfy some sort of ego driven idealism. Not good enough should have gone after being thrashed by Palace last year.We have gone backwards under him.Need to sign some premier league standard players to bring along the kids.No leaders at the club on or off the pitch.

He has to go. I'm bored of him trying to be positive after that. It was a perfect away performance from palace. Don't buy this not being able to take our chances crap.

We absolutely need an alternative at Striker. We played some really fabulous stuff today, but everything that is a strength for Jamie vardy and what's gotten him to where he is, is pretty much null in void in what Puels system is trying to be. I suppose this is where the tricky part comes in. I understand Jamie's frustration, but I understand where Claude is trying to get the team to be, so what does the ownership do? Do they back the manager or do they back their highest paid player and a proven 20 goal scorer in the league? It's a fine line

I’d say at this point in the season, when buying a new striker isn’t an option, and relegation is a very real possibility, they should back Vardy and sack Puel.  That gives us the best chance of staying in the PL I reckon.

Exactly this.

The truth is he should have invested in bringing intelligent footballers to the club. These types of player are more likely to adapt to the style that Puel is implementing, and thus make it sucessfull.

Claude does not inspire the home supporters and I imagine it’s the same with the first team.

This is is a result business and he is not cutting it.

...he needs to go in the next few weeks and be replaced with an interim until a permanent replacement is available.

...he should have gone 9 months ago but not everyone was on board then.

Better late than never.

He's not a fraud. He clearly has a long term plan, and even the most blinkered anti-Puel can see the green shoots. However the journey is too arduous for a result driven sport and fan base. He has merit as a Chief Executive steering a ship, but match-day manager I'm afraid not.

He does not have a long term plan. If he did part of it would be how to create clear cut chances and how to defend in a proper manner.Filling the team with young hopefuls is not a long-term plan. It is however a recipe for relegation and also destroying the confidence of young players.sorry he is a fraud USELESS GO NOW

The fact of the matter is. He’s won 25 and lost 27, apparently. What does that tell us!

out of genuine interest how many of those wins were in the first 3 months of his tenure?

Get rid of puel yes, but get rid of some of the snakes players that think they run the club, so we don’t have to sack a 4 th manager because they don’t like them

I was very much on the fence until tonight, he has to go.

He's done some good things like bringing the youth through; however his style of football not only doesn't suit us, I just don't think it suits the league as a whole, he would be better off moving back to a French club.

He's also been unlucky at times this season, there's been games that we've lost that you couldn't really pin on him; however it's a results business and losing to Cardiff, Southampton and Palace at home is unacceptable.

I’m resigning the Puel In whip and joining the Puel Outers.

He has to go ASAP or we’re in serious danger of getting in a relegation battle. This is simply not good enough.

Also I have a tenner on him being the next manager sacked so if we could get on with it that would be lovely.

Liked this for your tenner bet alone. A cheeky bookies trip would do you no harm either, and I'd do it before Tuesday's game. Those odds could shorten more than they already have.

CP's salvation could be the fixture list. With Brighton up here in just 72 hours, a City win (highly likely imo) would take some of the pressure off him.

People were saying the same about tonights game and look how that ended up.

The team and club as a whole are berift of any confidence and inspiration and Puel sadly isn’t the man to fix that.

Fact, and yes, I know, many of you will deny this and slate me for pointing it out - but fact anyway.

So - he has a plan?  What is it?

So - he brings through youth * - but whats the point when you lose practically every game? Any manager (my granny?) Could put in eleven 16 year olds and lose every game. Does it make her a good manager? or even one with a plan?

He IS a fraud. He needs to go.

* fed up of having this 'puel promotes youth' thing pushed all the time, I checked the ages of our squad expecting to find plenty of teenagers (nil) and a couple of twenty year olds (nil) - so maybe not using youth as much as most other premier sides - check their squads for teenagers if you don't believe me.
