JayT - Always A Fox! Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Anyone think it’s interesting that Maguire has played alongside Wes for both the friendlys in a “second string” team?

Sky and the prem have never had it so good as us winning it. People all over the world wanted a piece of it. It dont take much brain to work out an unbelievable story will sell better than the same old story.

That Brendan needs to push his defenders in a pre-season by exposing them to a side that will tire out in the second half and not protect them with better players in front of them.
Max Power Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Honestly the funniest thing now would be to somehow get Mason Greenwood in the deal. He’s the only player their fans seems to like and be excited by. £70m + Greenwood.

No.!!.pressure and free reins have been given in these 2 games, with a fair midfield to Evans and Soyu pairing. We know Maguire's attributes, they were backing up a weaker midfield.. Plus expect different selection in the next 2 games...

Or perhaps England international Maguire and club Captain Wes Morgan will be his first choice pairing for the season ahead?

CloudFox Posted 20 July 2019 Posted 20 July 2019 Alternatively, perhaps he's pairing two different types of players with each other - ball playing CB and defensively-minded CB. Just a thought, eh?
