Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 (edited) That is sickening. Son is distraught too. Edited 3 November 2019 by Cadno'r Cymoedd
kingfox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Holy shit I hope they don't show that again. Sickening looking injury, his ankle or leg is completely bent.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Feel bad for son to be honest, it was horrific but he never meant that 1
Vacamion Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 I know they can't show it again but he was desperately unlucky. He kind of flew from the first tackle into the second.
TheSomersetFox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Only got a glimpse of his ankle. Looked ****ed
sdb Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Ffs, horrible. Can't remember what happened and will not be watching back. But so sad to see. Bit harsh to give him a red if it was deemed a yellow initially and he's already distraught?
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 That red card has to be rescinded looking at that again.
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 (edited) decent that he still wasn’t gonna send him off. i’ve only watched about 25 mins of this game and son could’ve been sent off about 13 times. haha i thought he’d already been booked. ignore me. Edited 3 November 2019 by ScouseFox
Guest ttfn Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Sorry, why has Son been sent off for that? That’s not a red card offence, the issue happened when Aurier flew into Gomes
Finnegan Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Just now, foxes_rule1978 said: Feel bad for son to be honest, it was horrific but he never meant that Nobody ever quite means THAT (except Roy Keane) but its a stupid tackle on a guy who just clattered him in the face. He accelerates when he sees Gomes getting the ball and deliberately trips him. He might not be trying to cause him an injury and he obviously regrets the extent of it but he was deliberately trying to foul him.
Super_horns Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 It was the 2nd challenge that caught Gomes after Som tripped him.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 It was reckless but not a sending off, Son had a poor 5 minutes there
