StriderHiryu Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Well done my son! 32 years young! Very well deserved after his rich vein of form. Going into next season I am really excited. The type of football Rodgers plays means we make a lot more opportunities and with Vardy in this type of form, we have the man to finish those chances off!
rachhere Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Ah it's not just a popularity contest then. Who would have thought way back when Vardy wasn't even getting picked for the starting line up and we were on a downward trend that we would finish the season so strongly, that Vardy would be in the list of players competing for the golden boot and also getting player of the month.
Koke Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Apparently first player outside top 6 to win this award this season.
coolhandfox Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Excellent end of the season. Give us a couple more season please
foxy boxing Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Much deserved, well done Vards. never get tire of a Vardy party.
shen Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Just now, MC Prussian said: Fully deserved. Now a hattrick on Sunday? Let's have four so he can clinch the golden boot
RonnieTodger Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Pleased for him, but you've got to feel for Ayoze Perez who's been sublime

That being said, in this case they both scored their 5 goals across 3 fixtures. Vardy had one blank in April, Perez had two, so there's a clear winner there...
brucey Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Must be votes from Liverpool fans who hoped it’d motivate him for Man City, who have now turned to abusing him instead
Tanya Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 I've watched that clip four or five times already. Absolute legend.
