I'd take him as a squad option, he will certainly offer more than our current options outside of vardy. Don't want to know what we'd be paying though because no doubt it is ridiculously overpriced.

walkerleeds Posted 2 July 2019 Posted 2 July 2019 Obviously isn't suited to Newcastle ultra defensive/ negative style, but seemed to do alright. With less defensive workload and more freedom, he would be perfect as one of the three behind Vardy.

He's a very good finisher, good in the final third and proven in Premier League. I think he would make an immediate impact. But I do understand it that he's not a "blockbuster" signing like Tielemans.

(depending on ££ ofc) but has any price been quoted yet? He isnt the Mahrez replacement we were hoping for but realistically that was going to be an unlikely hope, for us to sign some well know 15 goal/assist player without it costing us loads. We have an up and coming in Barnes so for me this would be a great signing of a proven upgrade.
