the fox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Wolves played for a draw and got it. Underwhelming result but a promising performance. We looked to be the better side IMO but we were missing a goal to open the game.

martyn Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Draw a fair result, although Wolves will probably feel they had the best opportunities. Soyuncu MOTM by a street, N'Didi played well too. Chilwell and Maddison very poor. If we're to succeed we've got to find a way to get balls into Tielemans/Maddison in space. All too slow today.

A lot of possession but created nothing and Wolves just happily let us have the ball and take pointless long shots for the time being. Wolves should have had a couple in the beginning of the first half in the end, Obviously we'll improve and it's the first game etc. but the diamond and starting with 2 DMs at home to Wolves was a buit negative.

Suzie the Fox Posted 11 August 2019 Posted 11 August 2019 Decent 1st game and i dont see it as 2 points dropped. Wolves are a very competent team and finished ahead of us last year, it was always going to be a tough & close match. Ricardo MotM with Soyuncu also having a great game. 1st clean sheet of the season for Kasper and Barnes coming on and for me making a very good impression. Negative for me was our starting line-up, albeit i can 'sort of' see why it was chosen. Disappointed with the amount of corners we had which had zero effect on the game and also the lack of shots on target. Madderz and Chillwell i felt were rusty. Roll on Chelsea and the pink hat squad.

Maddison usual self, saunters around the pitch like he's Iniesta and shoots from anywhere, lad needs a reality check. Few looked like they were lacking a bit of fitness towards the end. Barnes has to start going forward for me.
