Worth mentioning that Chelsea will be playing Liverpool in Istanbul today. How they line-up might be of interest.

For a European final, there's no way they play a second string.

Kepa

Azpilicueta - Zouma - Christensen - Emerson

Kovatic - Jorginho - Kante

Pedro - Giroud - Pulisic

The pundits mentioned playing Kante as an attacking midfielder.

I hope Frank Lampard persists with this against us and doesn't put him back as a defensive midfielder.

That looks like a full strength Chelsea side to me. But it's a bit early in the season for two matches a week to knacker them.

Stick to our own game and we'll be fine, I really don't think chelsea are any better than us, 1-2 leicester

I agree with the sentiment. These and Man Utd should not be seen as a “big team” for us to bow down to any more. They have history, but currently both have extremely inexperienced managers, some very young players, very few genuine pedigree players in either side and neither of them have a proven 20-goal-a-season forward.

In terms of teams we should worry about, Man City and Liverpool are ahead of everyone else in the league, Spurs (sadly) probably have a bit extra too (at least in their first team) but the rest should be fair game.

Underestimate Chelsea at your peril, despite their difficulties they’re still good enough to beat most teams in this league. It will still be a tough game on Sunday. Add in the likes of Giroud, Willian, Kante and Rudiger, things look a bit more cheery for them.

Currently watching the Chelsea vs Liverpool match on BT Sport and I must say, Chelsea are looking a completely different team to what I saw when I watched them against Man Utd (baring in mind that score line wasn't a true reflection on the way they played)

Having said that, Liverpool are not looking great and it could well be Chelsea stepping up to the cup final Vibes.

Hopefully Chelsea will be a little tired and a little less up for our visit and we'll take advantage.

Certainly don't get too carried away with Chelsea's 4-0 defeat at the weekend.

Chelsea look very good, fluid and full of energy. Gonna be far tougher than some were suggesting. Big performance needed.

Agreed, one bad half at old Trafford and suddenly it's going to be a walk in the park for us.

Not another Sunday game :nono:

To be fair, starting to see the same mistakes from Chelsea now that cost them so much on Sunday.

This could easily end up 3 or 4 to Liverpool now. Frank's half time team talks must be awful!

Still think it's Liverpool's game to be fair.

Chelsea started strong but there seems to be gaps opening up. Small errors cost them 4 goals at Old Trafford, still didn't play badly, but small errors are costly at this level.

Id potentially start with Barnes, Vardy and Perez to push at them from the off

Id potentially drop Maddison and keep the middle 3 to hassle them further
