the way the physio was able to stretch his hammy indicates it wasn't too bad (fingers crossed)

Yes, if it was really serious there's no way they'd be putting that much pressure on it.

We should be fine without him for the next couple of games. Hopefully he will be back for the wolves game

Absolutely crucial we get him back very soon. We fought well and got a bit of lucky with that equaliser but over the course of the season, we will get nowhere near the top 6 with Wilf out.

We were getting hit so hard on the counter at the end, we’d never be able to commit to win games.

Wilf is so crucial to us, hope he’s back very soon!!!

Wilf has been a monster since his return.  Of course Mendy has turned into a player that can “do a job” BUT is Wilf’s name the 1st on the team sheet in terms of we are worse without him?

Tight hammy. Not a long term injury so couple of weeks maybe

If it's tight they'll scan it, if nothings found then no reason why it can't be managed and he starts next game.

If we had to miss Ndidi for any game, I'm happy Leeds is next up. We should deal with them comfortably.

Agree, although Chelsea would have been ideal

He wasn’t walking comfortably off the pitch .... Timmys hamstring strain kept him out for nearly six weeks!

Let’s see what the scan shows .... everything crossed because without him fit we won’t finish top six imo

Shows doesn't it that resting players in cup games makes no difference. They can get injured any time. Fingers crossed it wasn't anything too serious because he's been exceptional since his return and Tielemans is great alongside him too.

Mendy is fine for a couple of games.

He does seem to pick up injuries quite a lot these days which is a worry, but we can have confidence in Mendy.

It's the way in which he stretches to take balls. Fantastic technique but risks these injuries.

True but resting him against Brentford meant he definitely couldn’t get injured in that game, and gave Mendy some valuable game time which he needed for yesterday in the end.

Wilf has picked up more injuries over the last calendar year than in the previous 3 put together, or so it seems. Really hoping that this is not a serious one as he is probably one of our 3 most important players.
