the way the physio was able to stretch his hammy indicates it wasn't too bad (fingers crossed)

Yes, if it was really serious there's no way they'd be putting that much pressure on it.

Absolutely crucial we get him back very soon. We fought well and got a bit of lucky with that equaliser but over the course of the season, we will get nowhere near the top 6 with Wilf out.

We were getting hit so hard on the counter at the end, we’d never be able to commit to win games.

Wilf is so crucial to us, hope he’s back very soon!!!

Shows doesn't it that resting players in cup games makes no difference. They can get injured any time. Fingers crossed it wasn't anything too serious because he's been exceptional since his return and Tielemans is great alongside him too.

Mendy is fine for a couple of games.

He does seem to pick up injuries quite a lot these days which is a worry, but we can have confidence in Mendy.

It's the way in which he stretches to take balls. Fantastic technique but risks these injuries.

True but resting him against Brentford meant he definitely couldn’t get injured in that game, and gave Mendy some valuable game time which he needed for yesterday in the end.
