He looked like his time was up after that Crystal Palace away performance but came back like a storm and his massive contribution to our successful FA Cup will always mean I look back on his time as a success. 
 

It’s no surprise that Kel’s best performances for us came when he was playing in a 2 upfront. Not an out and out striker but on his day, creative and a very good finisher. 
 

Fa Cup Run and that “injured” pass V Leeds are how I’ll remember him. All the best Seniorman. Salute.

Well he was probably the biggest player in our FA Cup win. I get what you're saying but I don't think anything else that could have been would top that. 

 

His rise from getting 1 goal in his first 30 and being called the usual stuff on here like competition winner etc to being as good as he was for that time was amazing. 

 

Very likeable player when he was on it. 

 

Having said all that, I have even incredibly disappointed by him this season. He could easily have been our main striker. I thought he'd genuinely want to make up for what happened because of his affiliation with us but he just did exactly what Tielemans did and ran down his contract with the only real aim being to avoid injury. 

 

Some amazing memories but shame so many modern footballers taint them so much.

One of the great disapointments. When we signed him i had visions of a superstar. Never lived up to my hopes but there would be no FA Cup with out him.

I think he’s always been massively underutilised but he’s not quite backed his stats up with the same application. 
 

Modern football is incredibly transient but he’s been here for 7 years, surprisingly. He’ scored some truly great and important goals and as has been said dragged us to the FA Cup final.

 

I’ll miss him, proper character and on his day an unplayable figure. Good luck Kelechi. Not a legend but a cult hero? Who knows.

Personally I think it’s the right time to part ways, we need to freshen things up and too be honest he is too inconsistent, when he is hot he can be excellent but all too often when he is cold, he looks like he can’t be arsed and has won a competition to be a football player for the day. Frees up budget to bring in fresh blood. 
 

I think he will end up as a benchwarmer somewhere like Villa or Newcastle or end up in Turkey. 
 

Quite a frustrating player and this season it’s felt like his heart hasn’t never really been  it, ideally should have gone last summer even if for a nominal fee, this season has been Tielemans vibes.

Posts like this are beyond my understanding.    

 

Iheanacho has offered a lot over the years even if it wasn't as much as we hoped.

 

I wish him well.   My favourite Iheanacho moment was the assist to the assist when his groin had gone.   A brilliant pass when he must have felt like going down.

Genuinely thought he’d goal a shit load this season too. Think last season summed him up, came in at villa away and felt like this time to nail down that place. Did for about e games and went shit again. Southampton away was a shocker

Saw he was wearing a t-shirt but couldnt see what was on it. What a complete plonker. Reports now in the press that he turned down a reduced deal and his agent is now pushing for Villa. You would imagine Unai is smarter than that, but you never know.

 

This, along with Youri, needs to be the model for what running down your contract looks like.

Laying into a player that's given us probs 50% of his entire career. 

 

Maybe he turned down a contract as he doesn't like playing just 10 mins cameos every 7 or 8 games? 

 

Maybe after 7 years he just fancies a new challenge. 

 

He's been underused. His best role is as second striker, which has fallen out of fashion. His weight of pass in that role is sublime; three examples off the top of my head 

 

Leeds away last season as someone else pointed out

The KDH, Winks goal at wba this season

Sending Barnes thro at Eindhoven..

 

He's done that countless.times in addition to his goals. And some of his goals have been gorgeous. That spurs away at wembley was one of the best long range shots I've ever seen. That little delayed finish away at Brighton. His goals away at Villa in the league and league cup. Delicious.

 

I'll miss him. And wish him well. Hope he gets a great move.

Can tell his future is away from here. And probably done so for ages given his lack of game time. 

 

Good luck in his future endeavours. Got a feeling he'll go abroad.
