I do wonder what it is that people expect a backup player for Leicester City should be capable of.

 

It seems to me from many comments that it's, he should be able to not make any mistakes when teammates all over the pitch are making them.

Couldn’t really see JJ’s poor performance for all the others. Whole team were utter bobbins,  but Rodgers at fault.

People blaming JJ when the initial mistake for the first goal was Soyuncu not tracking his man. Yes, Justin should have been more aware but if Soyuncu doesn’t make the initial mistake, there’s no goal.

Lad was playing league 1 18 months ago, are people really that shocked to see inconsistencies in his game given where he was? We didn’t sign a finished article, good solid young lad who does more right than wrong every time he plays. Keep going and he’s going to be fantastic and valuable to the squad

How many people have actually really slated the lad? Can't say I've seen that many, seems there are a lot of people getting their knickers in a twist about nothing. 

 

He's backup, he's a lad learning the league, he'd played well sometimes and crap others. Overall my opinion is that he's been average so far, doesn't mean I think that's always going to be the case, doesn't mean I'm overly bothered about it as we don't have much choice, but he'll lose his place the second Ricardo is up to speed and he'll continue as backup and hopefully continue to learn and improve.

Similar to what Trav says, he is the ultimate back up player who only plays if our first choice is injured or rested, he would never get picked. Not in the same level as our wingers who are mainly interchangable. Issue is he will have been first choice for half a seasons worth of games by the time Ricardo is back, good experience for him but any flaws we will have to live with for now

I didnt realise there had been a reprieve & pardon....that all patients had been let out & had took up residency in Leic'shire,who are  now honary members of FT...

I take great comfort in your comments knowing that I am not alone in my world of positivity. However delusional it might seem to others. There is honor in walking our own path.
