No political discussion in this topic. That is complaining about a country, a politician, a party and/or its voters, etc

Ffs. If people hadn't been total dicks in supermarkets and parks at the weekend this may not have been needed.

Nah - it was always coming buddy.

Then it should've come last week. I don't really see how that one week makes people more psychologically ready.

And use home delivery? You can get a ****ing slot until mid April? What am I meant to do until then? ****ing graze in my back garden?

You can still go shopping for food...

This seems ridiculous to me, I don't understand. So normal workers are still going to go to work, mingle and allow the spread of CV. The reduction of trains, tubes and buses, will mean that everyone is still packed onto them because the people using them will be going to work.

The only difference is a fine and the stopping of large gatherings.

I really thought we'd get a more strict lockdown than that, I've got to be honest.

Only key workers

Apart from places that sell food or medicine everywhere else has to close

So what those of us that have been paying attention have been doing for the last couple of weeks?

Yeah from Friday.

There isn't much more they can do. This is essentially 'lock down'

This is as far as most of Europe is at the minute.

As someone who struggles massively with claustrophobia this is really ****ing with my mind.

I imagine the idea is to slow the spread down rather than prevent it completely. Slower rate of spreading gives the NHS more breathing space.

My works in Oxford, can I still go or not?

Can you work from home? If totally impossible, then yes.

I thought this too. Do they not know that you can't get home delivery or Click & Collect anywhere lol

There’s hasn’t been a solitary item on the shelves in my local Tesco for weeks. Guess I’ll have to start chewing leaves

How have you been living for the past few weeks?

I've got enough food to last a while. Just a fear of being trapped in. I regularly have to take a long walk in normal times just to clear my head. The thought of being restricted to doing it once a day terrifies me.

So building sites will remain open? One of the easiest places to spread the thing!!

Who knows! Seems like you decide for yourself to be enforced

Seriously, this situation will no doubt affect people's mental health.

If they're struggling and need professional help, would this be declined for a good while?

How will they know if people have been out more than once to excerise?

The police will ask you. Or, they’ll measure he wear on your trainers and check the difference if they catch you again
