Chuffed he's taken that opportunity. Hopefully he's allowed to grow in this role and continue to push on. Chilwell and Thomas would be a brilliant set of fullbacks for Europe.

Matt Posted 16 July 2020 Posted 16 July 2020 Better. Alot better! We actually went forward! We looked good, positive! Had the aggression we've been missing. Went a little bit defensive during the 2nd half and thought 'here we go' when the Hamza sub was made and Sheff Utd had a chance or two but not ultra defensive as we did defending a 1-0 lead v Bournemouth. Played the counter brilliantly.

Md9 Posted 16 July 2020 Posted 16 July 2020 Hopefully not to much pressure on Thomas now he had a very good game and looks a good player but he will make mistakes like everyone. Be a good few games now to test him against some good attacking players
