LCFC V Spurs Match Thread 2020

Worst thing in this is ffp doesn't mean shit, all these teams can spend a fortune and get away it. We clearly can't, but finishing top 4 would go a long way in enabling us to bridge the gap and actually compete in this league. We don't know what was available in January, but we did nothing to bring any kind of depth in and it's cost us massively

Let's not pretend we're a poor club. We've flexed our financial muscles on several occasions, not least on our way to the PL. Also, the income from CL football is rather secondary to the TV income from the PL. Yes, it would be a nice bonus, but it hasn't stopped us from competing for the top six since our title win, has it?

Hmmmm, think that passage of play shows the issue with have Nacho as our second striking option because I’m not quite sure what he gives us in terms of attacking threat when chasing a game.

We had the ball in wide areas where at this stage, simply swinging a ball in is called for - but Nacho is not a striker for that option.

He’s a little too similar to Vardy in style, without being anywhere near as good.

We are 3-0 down with the biggest game of the season next week when we've already had about 70% of our team injured.

What do you think he's doing?

The game won't matter if we get tonked by any more than this, taking Ndidi off rids us of most tackling ability in the middle. Less complaints about Praet though, especially as Tielemens doesn't always look fit. You'd think we would try to get a goal back, not sit on defeat of this margin, which feels inevitable bringing on a player like Mendy

This is the hardest Leicester team to watch in a long time.. we just look ****ing clueless, no urgency, no direction. Turning off now..

Sorry this is not as bad as Puel's football. Nowhere near

It will matter because we can still beat Man Utd and overturn the goal difference :dunno:

I don't think it's us settling for that. It's spurs settling for the win and sitting back.

With little creativity in the team there's little to do for Rodgers under the circumstances.

Spurs have done well to stop the balls through to Vardy to run on to.

Surely if we were that arsed we would take some risks?

Maybe not though, I've seen us piss about with it like this when we're 1-0 down to be fair.
