Collymore Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Commentary is like a Leeds documentary. Disgusting stuff. 1

Leeds look poor at the back too, but a lot of coaches will be watching this game and taking notes. Leeds have at times been dominating possession too. If you bypass their front press, they're incredibly open. Fabinho isn't there to secure it up and the centre backs are shakey today. 1
Countryfox Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Leeds looking quite perky ... good word that but don’t usually use to describe football teams ... 1

In that game they didn't look like they were bothered, whereas Man City were up for it. Man City totally outplayed them, but it reminded me of the Brighton game at the KP after we got promoted from the Championship. This looks like a competitive game where they are being given a lot more problems that we usually see teams cause Liverpool.
Corky Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Tyler- "In the Championship you'll see players coming up for headers from corners" It never happens anywhere else, obviously. 4

l444ry Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 (edited) Be surprised of Leeds can keep that pace up for 90 minutes. Half time Klopp will probably find the solution and Liverpool go on to get 5 or 6 goals. Hope not but the Premier League is more than just hard work. Edited 12 September 2020 by l444ry
OntarioFox Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Good lord the commentary is appalling. 3

I do agree with your points but not the “masterclass” part because they’ve been awful defensively. Tbf both teams have been poor at the back but surely in a masterclass you don’t concede 3. Liverpool will be back on it second half. They’ll see it out, probably score more.

whetstonefox Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Martin Tyler and Jamie Carragher are appalling together, without Gary Neville it’s just a rubbish combo 4
Sir Shep Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 I remember Norwich laying into Liverpool at the start of last season, the first few games are always quirky! 1

Countryfox Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 You’d think that with your team in WHITE ... and the opposition being in RED ... the Leeds players would easily know who to pass the ball to ...
The Bear Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Tyler's the problem. If you can have a face you want to slap, then he has a voice you want to cave it's skull in. 1
Unabomber Posted 12 September 2020 Posted 12 September 2020 Tyler is awful nowadays he just sounds so smug and annoying. They need to get rid ASAP. Also sky should get Nige in to do analysis whilst he is out of work. 1
