I'm positive we choked away a tremendous opportunity.

The proof is in the pudding now.  Need major improvements in the window, and a start next season which proves this isn's a straight-out freefall for a manager who's lost the team.  We were awful for the entire second half of the season.

Good season overall. A massive missed opportunity, no hiding from it. But, we did well to get here. Negatives are blowing Top 4 and the shocking no shows in the cup games and big games in general.

However, if we don't spend well we will really struggle next season. Need to enhance backline cover and we need quality and creativity.

Still a really great position for our club to be in.

I know it's gutting but there's players coming back from injury, there's money in the pot, there's very clear deficiencies that can be worked on in the transfer market and on the training ground rather than rot through the club.

I think we will do well again next season.

I like it mate but you're talking to Leicester fans.

The Rodgers out brigade have started and we've started to act like entitled twats.

Appreciate the sentiment but we know spiralling form can carry across seasons.

The backroom staff and board have an absolutely mammoth couple of months ahead.

Finishing 5th, brilliant to think a year ago, now I’m more concerned about taking our form in to next season on a threadbare squad where I’m not expecting any quality improvement. So yes, Europe 5o look forward to, but I just hope we don’t sell any key players and replace them with shite.

I agree, the injuries and suspensions were too much to cope, for our squad in the end. Need to add to the squad in the summer and with our players back we'll be alright next season. Keep the faith.

4 key players out of the side today, best Prem finish ever, apart from winning the league obvs. And a really bright future for the club.

Any Leicester fan would have taken a 5 placed finish before the start!

Well done the lads.

looking forward to the next season!!

What I will say is that at least over the past few games we've started to look capable of playing how we were again, particularly when you factor in the injuries.

We’ve been hamstrung by injuries to key players at a key time. We badly missed Ndidi in January. Now, we badly miss Maddison, Chilwell and Ricardo.

Once we get these players back to fitness, chop out the deadwood and bring in some quality, I think we’ll be ok and hoping for a good 20-21 season, will enjoy being in Europe again that’s for sure!!  Just hope we play quicker, we’ve been too slow and predictable for the 2nd half of the season.

Loads to be hopeful about and if we get a few great options through the door then there'll be excitement ahead of next season. No doubting we bottled it but there's lots of good stuff for the future in there. My biggest worry is stubborn Brendan.

Yeah, I’m also going to take a break from here. Try to get myself in a positive mindset for the new season. Hoping the transfers will restore the good feeling around this place.

We need more strength in depth. We lost Ndidi and pretty much as soon as he was back we lost Ricardo.

Then Maddison, Chilwell and finally Soyuncu.

Filling the gap with Bennett. Which proves we need better back-up.

It won't last long going by recent displays.

That’s the rub. With CL football, you not only attract a better quality of players (especially non-UK players) but you get more money to pay for it. Huge chance missed!
