Fair play to the young man but lets be honest Southgate is a fraud having sat in the stands watching the demolition of Man City he probably thinks Jamie Vardy was the left winger he was watching also he clearly missed the cameo from Maddison and his goal but no point playing the likes of him when you have Dier, Rice, Deli and Lingard. Somehow Southgate got England to a world cup semi final but people forget you could not wish for an easier draw. The fact in Russia 2018 that we only played 2 decent teams and lost to them 3 times says so much

Going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing you don't rate Southgate much lol

Bit premature if you ask me. But then again you look at some of the overrated clowns that Southgate calls up and you can see why he’s got the nod. He’s started the season really well.

 

It would be nice if England’s coaching staff could help him sort out his finishing. More important, though, is that he doesn’t get injured.

Looking at everyone who is pleased, but this now means he will get his head turned within a season or two.  Wonder which EPL club asked southgate to put him in so he can be got at.

Would be nice in a season or two if he was doing the head turning and tapping up players to come to fashionable Leicester. :schmike:

Congratulations but I'm surprised too. He hasn't sorted his ability to score goals yet and he's had this problem of not converting enough chances since he's been here. I assume this call up will be for him to get a taste of being in the first team with maybe a sub appearance as a bonus.
