I can't think that Amartey is anywhere near fit or surely he would have been named in the Europa squad

This is just gonna be one of 'them' seasons. Known it right from the off. I have no expectations at all this season.

We can't. Unless he formally retires from the national team, and that's unlikely.

I honestly find the whole Benkovic situation bizarre. Did well for Rodgers at Celtic, and now all of a sudden BR doesn't seemingly rate him at all. I'd have thought he'd have been a tailor made option for our EL group games at the very least.

Weve played 5 games this season and already played Wes, Amartey, Wilf, Soyuncu, Evans and Fofana at centre half. 

 

All except Fofana injured or half fit. Absolutely extraordinary.

Brendan will have to choose which games Evans can play in as he won't manage every game.

I don't fancy Fuchs playing CB it hasn't worked out to good so far. I'd bring Knight back from loan and give him some one to one Coaching to help him adjust to the pace of the Prem.

All about greed meeting the reality of Covid. If the powers that be hadn't been so greedy we could have played an abbreviated schedule last season and then had a proper summer for all the players to rest. Then we could have had an abbreviated season to get back on track. Somethings got to give and right now its the players and the smaller squads that are going to pay. The only clubs that win are the Chelseas and Uniteds who can field the quality of depth and numbers that it takes to keep on going. Rodgers said it in his presser the other day. "Players are humans not machines".

People need to wake up and realize that just because Covid didn't effect them doesn't mean it hasn't affected others....... profoundly. With the second wave looking like its starting to hit now our world will be a different place in three months. Fxxk Football.
