Of those fixtures if you were going to play Fuchs and Albrighton together, this is probably the game you'd do it in. Of course when they also play in each of the next two games as well, then my explanation falls to pieces! Shut up and let people pre-grieve. 1

Under does track back quite well I thought. Too negative once again and if we don’y create chances Rodgers will blame it on the players again
reynard Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Well it looks a bit negative but I think people are getting a bit too excited over what happened against AEK. They aren't that great a side and had nothing to play for at all. We won ok but Brighton are a big step up in quality. I'm not really sure what he can do, especially at the back with so many key defenders out injured. This is going to be a tough week and we will need the whole available squad to cover the three matches.

Sir Shep Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Even Amazon are pulling up our defensive weaknesses, cast iron guarantee we concede today, just hope the rain plays in to our favour.

ian__marshall Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Didn't Rodgers role out a similar defensive formation against Brighton at home last season? I fully expect a better result today but just find it a really odd approach given that Brighton offer very little from an attacking point of view.
Corky Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 Having complained about bias on commentary, great to hear Leicester fan Arlo White doing the Five Live coverage tonight

We are set up the same way but the only thing that has changed is the personnel. Changing ndidi for mendy and soyuncu for fofana takes out quite a bit of a height and ability to attack balls in the air.
StanSP Posted 13 December 2020 Author Posted 13 December 2020 Didn't realise Brighton had only won 5 games in 2020. Knew they'd played well and not picked up some results but didn't know it was that bad.

Again, Albrighton is not being picked as a first choice winger, and if he is, that’s even worse than starting with a back 5 at home to Brighton. 1

volpeazzurro Posted 13 December 2020 Posted 13 December 2020 We should win this but it will be despite the manager not because of him. 1

So could easily be the usual 4-3-3 if the above alludes to a back four. Or similar to when Praet plays and drops into the centre when we defend but plays on the right when we attack
