What was really pleasing about that win was our character and the ability to win a tough physical game. Plus me putting a tenner on southampton to win on 55 minutes to win a potential 130 quid. Never have won a bet!😁

MOTM Between Wilf and Sharky. They did the defensive work so our back four didn’t really have to tonight! 
 

The balance since we adjusted the tactic slightly is just so much better. The addition of the false nine has made a huge difference, especially to Madders form! 
 

Shame about vardy. Let’s be honest he’s playing injured, it’s always clear to see when he does! Perhaps given how many saints had out, tonight might have been a good shout for an extended rest.

More importantly a gritty home win against a side on the up in Southampton. Hopefully gives us the momentum for a string of decent home results to go with the great away form. 

If Vardy can get his finger out, can't see why we won't be in the race for some time to come.

Felt for him-  he is sort of the bloke who loves to share his joy with others for a huddle compared to say Vardy who loves to go into frenzy on his own.   Showed a remarkable restraint doing that with his trademark wit.
