happy85 Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Leicester interested in bringing Eriksen from Inter John Percy 2
happy85 Posted 21 January 2021 Author Posted 21 January 2021 Sources in Italy have claimed that Inter would demand that Tottenham paid a fee and covered Eriksen’s wages to take him back on loan, while other clubs would only be required to pay his salary, which would total £3.5 million after tax, for the rest of the season.
lcfcsnow Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Not unless its a 6 month loan. He had a terrible final season at Spurs and has struggled for form since. I suppose Schmeichel will know him well though so may be a good fit. 4

Sounds like they're still bitter for selling him to them. 1
casablancas Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Yes please. On form and at it he can be a game changer.

Popular Post jeffschlupp Posted 21 January 2021 Popular Post Posted 21 January 2021 I understand why the club don't usually operate in January but you only have to look at the signing of Fernandes for Manchester United to show what an impact a mid-season signing can have. Eriksen is only 28 and £3.5m for half a season is a no brainer if he fancies it, we'd have spent £2m on Slimani's wages for 6 months Would bring quality cover for Maddison and at a push Tielemans if we dropped into 4-3-3 rather than 4-2-3-1. Mates with Schmeichel, proven in the league, fits the bill of 'broken' player Rodgers discussed in the summer. All for this one 7
lcfc sheff Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 I’ve never been fond but At least it does show we are being active.
RowlattsFox Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Worth an ask. I'd be surprised, especially with Poch at PSG but maybe that can't loan him and Alli? A loan is worth any risk IMO. Unless we have to pay a ridiculous fee to make it happen.
North Leeds Fox Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 (edited) Wow, that would be an excellent signing on loan until the end of the season. Would give us so much depth and allow us to rest youri, especially in EL. he also loves hitting first man on corners so he will fit in well here! Edited 21 January 2021 by North Leeds Fox

jayfox26 Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 (edited) I'm torn on this one as he showed what a quality player he was at Spurs. I'm not concerned about his form for Inter as he may just not be a good fit for them but my concern would be, is he up to the hard working, high pressing, high intensity game we play? He has genuine quality and could help us unlock low block sides but will he work hard enough for the team? Edited 21 January 2021 by jayfox26 2
kingfox Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 We need a replacement for Praet, preferably on loan, but I didn’t expect Eriksen’s name to come up. Would he be happy to sit on the bench though 1
KFS Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Suggested this as our player to release the burden on Youri. Would be class.
rachhere Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 I was wondering if this might happen in response to Praet's injury. I remember there was an article reporting how previously Kasper had suggested the club should try and tempt him in, saying he was one of (if not the) most talented players he had played with. 1
Stadt Posted 21 January 2021 Posted 21 January 2021 Would be superb as a loan, permanently we’d be silly to do it. 1

This could be a quality signing on a short term loan. No way we’d go in and pay big money for a big permanent deal. Probably be til the summer to cover Praet
