This. Apparently there was an ACL rehab specialist who joined in the summer, hopefully Ricardo can spend some time with him while recovering from the leg break and get back to something like the Riccy of old

Rodgers said 6 to 8 weeks, it 6.5 when we play forest.

 

Fingers crossed we have him, Fofana and Justin fit together for the first time.

Looks like he might be back in training based on his latest Instagram story, good news if true. Can hopefully rotate him and JJ to prevent further injuries to either other the next number of weeks

But on Tuesday, Ricardo posted a picture from Seagrave suggesting he was back in full training with his team-mates.

Posing alongside Daniel Amartey, Ademola Lookman, Boubakary Soumare and Marc Albrighton, Ricardo said they had been the winning team, with City often holding mini-games in training.

Wilfred Ndidi, back from the Africa Cup of Nations where he had been representing Nigeria, gatecrashed the picture.

Can’t wait until we are winning a game comfortably and Rodgers takes off JJ for Ricardo with 25 to go and Ricardo instantly pulls up and we finish with 10 men.  Bookmark this post

That would be a big boost if he's already back in full training, although even if he's just back doing none contact ball work etc its a big positive. Hopefully he could be back playing by the end of the month

I’m really hoping Ricardo comes back problem free with no setbacks🙏 Managing to get him on the right and JJ on the left in the next month or so would be a real positive end to a shit league season

Hopefully the enforced absence means his hamstrings have had time to recover (not sure it works like that tbh, it may well be that hammys are equally susceptible after long breaks...either way, let's hope he's  back to somewhere near his brilliant best)

That cut inside and shot just beyond the post on Sunday reminded us what we've been missing. I wouldn't lump him into the 'embarrassment' group. I'd play him everytime if he's fit.

This - I don't think playing on the right seemed to suit JJ very much :(

Such an exciting player to watch when he’s at it.

 

Also I’d forgotten that he’s actually got a bit of aggression about him which is much needed in this team.
