Brilliant today, if he can consistently hit this form again he's the kind of player that can really drive us on. Hard to pick a man of the match between him, Barnes, KDH, Thomas and Youri.

I love Ricardo. He has worked hard the last couple of games and showed fight when others haven't. He has had such rotten luck with injuries. Well deserved goal. Ricky P is back ❤

I’d give it to KDH, but Ricky, Barnes and Youri did exceptionally well.

The man is a Rolls Royce of a player. Before his injury if he kept up that form he'd be playing for one of the best clubs in Europe. I'm more bothered about losing him than Youri because when he's on his day and fully fit he's world class.

The guy looks genuinely overjoyed when he scores too, has that proper "Get in" expression on his face. Would love to see him playing ahead of JJ on the right. Just cut out most of his defensive duties and have him bombing on like Barnes does on the left.

I really, really hope that was a tactical change tonight :(

Guaranteed that we don’t move Marc to FB for tactical reasons…..

there was a moment later in the first half where Ricky cleared a ball down the right near the touch line and seemed to be unhappy about something- perhaps he felt his hammy

Hopefully just a twinge and just being careful with him! Agree with @st albans fox that it wouldn’t have been tactical to move Marc there

Especially as albrighton and riccardo combine so well. He definitely felt something but he looked fine as he came off. Hopefully just protecting him. He looked sharp in defence as well as attack tonight. Thought he had scored. Pope made some good saves tonight.

Rodgers said he felt a tightness in his hamstring again and will assess after he's had a scan. Tightness in Hamstring is a strain in Rodgers speak.
