Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 14 November 2022 Posted 14 November 2022 Ricky just never looked the same after his first injury here, it's pretty pie in the sky to think that he'll ever come close to that level again. Such a shame, was such an innocuous challenge, the first one, the fact he played on until the end of the game probably didn't help. 2 2

Anti gravity treadmill so less weight on the achilles tendon etc. I did the same injury one week after Ricardo, nasty injury just stated walking without the boot recently. 1
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 19 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 19 January 2023 (edited) His leg will probably fall off next with how unlucky he has been but it is nice to see Riccy P back in first team training again Edited 19 January 2023 by moore_94 13

Chrysalis Posted 20 January 2023 Posted 20 January 2023 He comes back, we win a few games (yes he does make a difference) then injured again, his wage bill might provide good value as the 6-9 points might be the difference in staying up. 1
Paninistickers Posted 27 January 2023 Posted 27 January 2023 His socials suggesting that his training has ramped up. Pictured in the training pics too.. I wonder if 10 mins v Walsall might be planned? 1

LVFox Posted 27 January 2023 Posted 27 January 2023 Think his days at RB are done (At least as attacking as he was). He could be a decent option at RW though.

He's effectively in week 1 of a pre season fitness build. End of Feb seems likely. Just wondered if he might get a bench place in case of a last 10 mins cruise and he gets a run, more for confidence rather than fitness Edit; we need even a 60% effective Ricardo back. We need to bolster that right hand side and basically, I'd double him and Timmy up on the right to solidify that half of the pitch Edited 27 January 2023 by Paninistickers
themightyfin Posted 27 January 2023 Posted 27 January 2023 Good to see he's very close to being involved again. Guy needs a good run he's had his fair share of bad luck with injuries. Looks super fit. Looking forward to this. 2

It’ll be a few weeks before we think about putting him in an Under-21s. He looks very good in fairness.” 1
Jakemoore Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Back in the squad this weekend. I cannot wait to see Rici back out on the pitch. I just hope and pray he can stay fit. When he was at his best he’s probably the best attacking full back we’ve ever had. Also, just watched the LCFC Community video that was posted on the OS. What a lovely, genuine and kind hearted guy he is. 1

Harpenden Fox Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 He does seems like a totally class act does Ricky P. I’d love him to come back strongly from this injury, as would we all. Will be giving him a massive cheer if he gets on the pitch this weekend. 2

brookfox Posted 9 February 2023 Posted 9 February 2023 Was one of my favourite players in his prime. Hopefully injuries haven’t taken too much of a toll and he comes back strong. At the time when we had him and Chilwell (yes, I know, boo hiss etc) at FB it was probably only Liverpool who had better options. Injuries to him and then Justin were massive blows to us. 4
