deanolegend1989 Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Vardy is a strange one atm. He slashed at one late on and generally looks a shadow of his ruthless self. However today, especially first half, I thought he was very good but he’s dropping a bit deep and not getting into any good positions to score. His link play and movement is top draw though, he’s such a clever player and he won us the game with a great run and the clearest penalty you will ever see. 1

He is still making intelligent runs - for the Kel goal, his movement opened up space. He needs goal - one off the ass.
Popular Post coolhandfox Posted 6 March 2021 Popular Post Posted 6 March 2021 (edited) Biggest thing is a weeks break. Time to rest tired bodies and minds and get a few guys back. Edited 7 March 2021 by coolhandfox 15
M0901 Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Give everyone 3 days rest now, recoup and go again. Kelechi starts. On we go, can’t drop any points against these.
Aus Fox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 A full weeks break will do the likes of Tielemans and Vardy the world of good. Will wait and see who might be back before contemplating the starting XI, as good as both Soyuncu and Fofana are we are better organised with Evans at the back. If he’s fit he plays. 2
Popular Post OhYesNdidi Posted 6 March 2021 Popular Post Posted 6 March 2021 (edited) 4-4-2 please / with Ricardo and Castagne as full backs Edited 6 March 2021 by OhYesNdidi 7
Stuntman_Mike Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 (edited) We just need to win ugly again. A decent performance would be ideal to build some momentum, but a win with the games to follow is more important. Hopefully we start with a back 4. Edited 6 March 2021 by Stuntman_Mike
Cropwellfox Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Assuming Maddison and Praet not fit enough to start we w got to keep 2 up front but Ricardo and Albrighton wide and 442. Possibly tough on Amartey but would leave him out for Timmy and Thomas at full back 1
Corky Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 Wilder seemed irritated today, mentioned about players going which suggests all isn't well which could go one of two ways. Hopefully they'll feel deflated and not fired up. Having a week to prepare is a novelty and we should look fresher and hopefully start positively unlike the last two.
Guest foxestalkisfullofidiots Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 If we don't win this we deserve to drop out the top 4, Sheff Utd were a serious threat to Derby's record up till a couple of weeks ago
Webbo Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 If Preat's fit then I'd start him but I'd keep Maddison on the bench and hope he's not needed. We don't want to aggravate his hip, save him for the cup.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 With a full week to rest and prepare, and with possible reinforcements back from injury, there is no excuse not to start this game on the front foot. 2

Brendan might be tempted to play Timmy and Ricky on the right and Thomas and albrighton on the left 1
Wymsey Posted 6 March 2021 Posted 6 March 2021 It'll be very surprising if this game isn't won quite easily. 2
