Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 13 March 2021 Share Posted 13 March 2021 It's remarkable how the return of Perez has garnered such optimism. I think the term is revisionism. Yes he's another body. But it's a bit like clapping for Ghezzal's return. It may disappoint.

Shouting "Any old iron or rag, bone" and using a metal loud hailer shaped like a funnel. that would have been about 1959/ 60 ish. Maybe someone will start a new thread of these wonderful but obsolete nonsense sayings from years gone by! I've probably got quite a few but, though meant inoffensively, I sometimes have to think twice before throwing one in now days. I daren't start such a list as I don't want to risk a ban this close to the end of the season.

cruzFOX Posted 13 March 2021 Share Posted 13 March 2021 Brendan please tell the lads this is a MUST WIN game hopefully that will do the trick. If ever there was a game for Vardy to wake up from his hibernation its this one. A hatrick please Sir Jamie! Oh I have a funny feeling the hammers are gonna do a job on manu too and jump into 4th spot.
The Guvnor Posted 13 March 2021 Share Posted 13 March 2021 I really hope we put Sheffield to the sword and play real attacking football. Perez has stated his best position is as a number10, so with Madders out I hope Brendan gives him his opportunity to prove it and play him behind Vardy and Nacho. reynard Posted 13 March 2021 Share Posted 13 March 2021 With Wilder going I think this will be a lot harder than we expect. Whilst points wise it isn't must win psychologically I'd say it is. With Man City and West Ham to come soon this just has to be won. I think we will need 6 more wins to get top 4 and the matches against the teams in the bottom half simply have to count towards this. KingsX Posted 13 March 2021 Share Posted 13 March 2021 **** me but you lot do need some hand-holding. The KingsX Guide to HOW TO IGNORE MOTHERS DAY AND WATCH CITY ON SUNDAY 1. Tell her you’re going to do something fun and interesting for Mothers Day this year, by celebrating American style. i.e. on May 9th (yep, that’s the day after our Newcastle fixture). Be sure to surprise her with a bucket of KFC in bed. That always melts female hearts. 2. Remind her that the woman who founded the holiday later wanted it abolished, since it had become an excuse for crass commercialism. https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/30659/founder-mothers-day-later-fought-have-it-abolished Tell her you prefer to honor her in the true spirit of the holiday, and offer to donate to the womens’ charity of her choice, in lieu of flowers and dinner. 3. Tell her you are establishing a new Mothers Day tradition that will bring the family together. Buy shirts for the entire family and give her the best chair you usually sit in. Have snacks and drinks ready for halftime so she doesn’t even have to get up. If there’s no match on Mothers Day next year, just rerun your favorite match from 15/16. 4. Failing all else, do what you usually do and beg.
