Foxxed Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 We're passing it out from the back comfortably against Man City. Just think back to 16/17. Incredible.
volpeazzurro Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 It has to be said that formation and team selection wise, thus far this is not a tactical masterclass by Rodgers and it was apparent before kick off. 2 out of 3 centre halves immobile. Would have a back 4 and an extra midfielder. Perez was always going to be a pathetically weak link against such opposition also.
Mark Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 We really miss Barnes directness in a game like this, can’t make any way up field 2 1
Sly Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 That’s never a yellow when you compare it to KDBs on Vardy early on.
Tielemans63 Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Not getting at Perez for the sake of getting at Perez, or making him a scapegoat but I wonder if we might be better bringing on Praet to shore up the midfield. 4
Bazly Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Wilf is having a good game - if he scores one of his thunder strikes later on it'll be an incredible display. Bet Pep goes and has a word later.
Izzy Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 On the rare occasion Man City lose possession, they work thier bollux off to win it straight back. Pretty impressive tbf
Hales Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Praet on the tighten up midfield and link with Timmy and Madders too for definate.
Dan Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 He's only been booked there due to the two non-fouls he gave them earlier.
Countryfox Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Wilds yellow based on two fouls ... one of which didn’t exist ...
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Of course that’s a yellow as we’re playing in blue
RoboFox Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 If Perez has the ball any longer than about a second his brain freezes up and he doesn’t know what to do with it. Needs to give first time.
hejammy Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Just now, bluefox1 said: That wasn't even a foul again on kdb. Hmm I think it was.... Ndidi also knew it

StanSP Posted 3 April 2021 Author Posted 3 April 2021 Getting to HT at 0-0 would be a good achievement. 4
lcfcsnow Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 This is why I hate the back five, no chance of getting anywhere with only Albrighton and Castagne offering any width and they are basically in line with our CBs. 1
Corky Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 If Maddison or Praet are fully fit then they play here. Perez isn't dynamic enough on the ball.
what? Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Tense as hell but unless you're one of about four teams in the world this is just abiut the only sensible way to play again man city. We're restricting their shooting chances for all this possession at least 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2021 Posted 3 April 2021 Perez certainly not going to work in a game like this. When you get the ball especially in their half the passing and play needs to be spot on, because it will be rare we get in them positions 1
