Rumours of a house party around a currently not playing players house.  Not Harvey Barnes house who has also been implicated.  I wont name the player because it`s only a rumour, but if true i`m absolutely amazed in that particular player.  Probably the last player i would expect to be involved

Wes it a nice house 😉

It’s disgraceful. The timing of it couldn’t really be worse and it’s inexplicable that they haven’t been fined.

Their selfish actions have meant they are ineligible to be within the group bubble and therefore to do their job.

If any one of us did something that meant through our own actions we were unable to work, we would not still be paid. Why are we setting a precedent that footballers are any different? (Which incidentally is the kind of thinking/mindset that leads to this kind of behaviour in the first place).

Barnes should not be immune from criticism either. He’s going into the training ground everyday and has a responsibility not to take the virus into the training ground and potentially jeopardise the success of the team.

Villa could be keeping it quiet cause we don't know when this breach was broken could have been before the man city game.

Yes we do.

Three Leicester players axed from squad for crunch West Ham game over Covid breach

Leicester axed James Maddison, Ayoze Perez and Hamza Choudhury from their top-four shootout with West Ham after the trio breached Covid regulations.

Furious Brendan Rodgers left them out of his squad after discovering they attended a party after the Premier League match against Manchester City last weekend.

It is understood the party was held by Perez, the forward, and Rodgers has taken a hardline stance by excluding them from his plans for the potentially pivotal game at West Ham.

Telegraph Sport understands the trio have not been fined as yet for breaking club rules, with Rodgers insisting that leaving them out of Sunday's crunch game was punishment enough.

Rodgers made no reference to the incident in his press conference on Friday afternoon, but will address the issue after the West Ham game.

Maddison, Perez and Choudhury will be available for next Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Southampton at Wembley.

A Leicester City spokesman said: "The club has made its expectations around adherence to COVID-19 protocols abundantly clear to all its personnel.

"It is extremely disappointing, therefore, to learn of a breach that had the potential to undermine the efforts of club staff to protect the environments in which our teams train and play. Appropriate measures have been taken to prevent our team bubbles being compromised.

"We wholly expect our people to behave in a way that reflects the national effort and the sacrifices made by our communities to control the spread of the virus. Those involved have apologised for their poor judgement. Our response to the matter will be concluded internally."

Maddison has only recently returned from a hip injury and this latest incident could damage his hopes of an England recall.

Though he missed out on last month's World Cup qualifiers, Maddison has been watched by England manager Gareth Southgate on a number of occasions this season and this could leave him facing a battle to win back his international place.

In October 2019, Southgate warned his England players that he continually monitors their behaviour, shortly after Maddison was photographed at a poker table in a casino.

On that occasion, Rodgers defended the £25 million signing and insisted his reputation as a troublemaker was undeserved.

Perez's absence comes at a time when the forward has been in arguably the best form of his Leicester career since his move from Newcastle in July 2019.

Choudhury, the midfielder, could be facing an uncertain future as a Leicester player after he was warned over his discipline by Rodgers last season.

Former Leicester defender Ben Chilwell and Choudhury were both left out of the squad for the game at Burnley last January, and subsequently fined, for turning up late to a training session.

Choudhury was a loan target for Newcastle and West Brom in the January transfer window, and it is likely he will be made available this summer.

Your point remains Grealish could have still been there but it has nothing to do with him not playing for the past 2 weeks.

It surprised me most when nothing came of Maddison or Chilwell attending Grealish's party last year.

As I say Maddison is just a Grealish wannabe.

They should each be sold and replaced. An elite club wouldn’t tolerate such weak mentality, nor should we.

No they wouldn't. Cantona literally attacked a fan, whether it was provoked and right or not, and United stood by him. They also stood by Rio Ferdinand when he missed 2 years after a drug fail.

Maddison/Perez/Hamza and whoever else - what they've done is wrong, annoying and they've let us down/the club down/Rodgers and his staff down/their teammates down - but it's a breach of rules that others have been caught up in. It'll be a fine tops, probably 2 weeks but should be a month, and probably an apology.

They shouldn't play in the cup game. Why should they have the glory of that (if we win).

Let the club, fans and themselves down.

An appropriate place for them to demonstrate some professionalism. Going out to Saints punishes the club, not them.

The casino thing was that big of deal, he got slated by the media... compare that to Foden and Greenwood nothing was mentioned.

Maddison was dropped for going around going do you know who I am to girls in the club 🤦‍♂️

Aye Ashley, I think we know some of the same scumbags to know the same stories :D

Always been a little big headed, natural when you've got the world at your feet, I thought he'd grown up though in the past 18 months.

Hope we win the FA Cup with these 3 out the side, then move them on in the Summer.

Maddison is a good player, but seems like a knob

Perez is not good enough on the pitch

Choudhury I wanted to do well, and I think can do a job for us but has an error in him so this tips it to get rid.

Disgraceful events given the enormity of this month to the club. If Wes was there will be gutted...

Don't be so ridiculous.

No doubt Rodgers would be furious. But it's a bollocking, not a sacking.

If i was to guess, after months and months of being cooped up and a relentless two games a week, the relaxation of garden rules meant some young fun rich guys decided to blow off some steam at what they probably guessed would be a largely footballer only (and therefore all covid tested) private event.

Misjudged and unprofessional. But entirely human.

Personally I'm not going to go all in on them. I don't want to see a half hearted apology but we are bound to.

Rodgers has punished them by missing today. Now let's see if they can give a reaction. A Perez or Maddison winner next week and this will be forgotten very quickly.

Maddison has dropped the biggest bollock of the three.

Had to sit and watch from his sofa today as his rival for his spot in the England Euro's 23 sunk two past us infront of a watching Southgate who had probably turned up to compare the two.

He's no doubt feeling like the biggest tit of them tonight.

The players could have been fit and available but that doesnt mean they would have had an impact in the game. Either way, they have messed up big time but they are still our players and still have a chance to say sorry with performances and goals on the pitch. They havent done enough to warrant us cutting off our noses to spite our faces but dropping them today, dragging them through this mayhem is the reality check that may give us focus for the rest of the season.

Thats the plan anyway!!!

I feel for BR he has done everything he can to support and develop these players on the pitch, and will now, inevitably, have to explain their shortcomings to the fans and media. No excuses for the breach of discipline and rules put in place. A fine or severe telling off, really wont cut it for these players either.  I hope the dissapointment of their team mates, manager, and fans will have a lasting  impact  on  their outlook on life and their maturity as young players, going forward.
