TheUltimateWinner Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 (edited) Perez supposedly hosting the part doesn’t surprise me. Remember him putting on his Instagram story a video of him saying “Came back from training and my brother and his mate were round” during the height of lockdown Obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. edit: it’s still up on his page https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3ODc0NTU0OTE4MDk5NTg4?story_media_id=2481496606069028892&igshid=12uobikhz4zl Edited 11 April 2021 by TheUltimateWinner

Leicesterpool Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 I think the three players should be forced to face online live fans forum to not just apologise but explain there reasons. If they refuse then they wont play for the rest of the season.

NeilLCFC Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 (edited) Totally unacceptable and even worse when considering how big today’s game was. Perez has done fvk all on the pitch since his £30m move. He should be spending more time at Seagrave, not hosting parties. Why are they having a party after loosing a match?! They deserve to be fined the maximum allowed. Edited 11 April 2021 by NeilLCFC

As with most things in life footballers have had this tough period way easier than the average folk. No job loss threat way more socialising than the average. It still isn't enough for them though. They're above the norms. They've also put their manager in a terrible position- they have made themselves unavailable for a huge game and he now has to face a lot of questions about it. yorkie1999 Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 I can see that being the final straw as far as choudhurys concerned, at least Maddison and Perez have a bit of value in them.
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 (edited) Absolute idiots. They've totally disrespected the club, their team mates, Brendan and us, the fans. It's also massively affected the performance today as it left us with pretty much no options off the bench or creativity. Hoopla10 Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 They knew the rules. People can make excuses for them all they want but there are rules in place and they BROKE them knowing how important our upcoming games are. It's a massive insight into their mentality and priorities. Even if we'd won today that wouldn't make this any less true. As I said in the matchday thread I hope Kasper, Evans, Vardy really dig them out about this. They need to feel the consequence. Missing a game or even a fine isn't going to do that but the leaders of your team showing their anger at you hopefully will. We talk about momentum being important but so is a team all pulling in the right direction. This isn't pulling in the right direction. It's unacceptable and they need a hard snap to yank them back on course.

Precisely. The rules are pretty clear at this point and we've seen the examples that have been made of other footballers. Just wait a week then you can do more. For the record I think the restrictions we're under are a little much at this point but I'm not breaking them.

Make all the players stay at Segrave from tomorrow onwards especially for next week ffs. They can only be fined two weeks I think the club should make it four (with their agreement) and donate it to local charities ..... im unhappy that the title of the thread is changed - for me it’s about showing a lack of respect to your team mates and the club (and obvs fans) at a critical stage of the season. totbl Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 Honestly, get rid of them. Maddison is talented, but clearly a big time charlie with a poor mentality. As for Perez and Hamza, I'm sure they'll be challenging for champions league football many more times in their career at the likes of Newcastle and similar, so won't bother them too much. Get them binned.

adam Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 Wouldn't play perez or hamza again. Both not up to standard and clearly not got a brain cell between them. Maddison talks a good game in post match interviews but shows what he is really about here. Bloody huge game this was. Eskay Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 Hamza's second offence (last time dropped with Chilwell) JMs second offence too - in the Casino after being dropped by England. Pliskin Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 Get rid of them. Compromising the integrity of the club shouldn’t be tolerated, and action should be taken. I’d cash in on Madders and pump the money into someone else.....
Hales Posted 11 April 2021 Share Posted 11 April 2021 Unacceptable behaviour and no excuse at all. They know the rules. They upset the team and management potentially changing training, tactics, morale etc. They should be ashamed of themselves and have let their team mates down. Disgusting. I didn't see my nan for a year before she died of covid a couple of weeks ago and couldn't say goodbye, so yes this is raw but it's totally inexcusable. Their team mate currently has covid for goodness sake! Brain dead the lot of them. 4
