He didn’t just have a party either, he’d got some escorts over lol

Yep - 'Deliveroo' have been offering a fantastic service during this Pandemic.

Why not? He's got a history of misdemeanours, particularly when the opposite sex are involved. He's one of the boys as much as any of them.

No idea if this is true but a rumour Grealish was there too 🤣

Where has this rumour appeared?!

Because, as I listed in my first post, he isn't just one of the boys.

If he wanted girls, as a Premier League football he wouldn't have trouble getting what he wants without jeopardising his future.

Still doesn't make sense.

Of those involved, we would only really want to keep Barnes & Maddison.

Perez has been a flop, Morgan is retiring in a couple of months, and Hamza is fringe at best, and has not shown that he will hold down a first team place.

I don't see how to we should pick and choose who we keep or let go based on this incident alone. It would be a tad hypocritical. That decision should be based on a combination of playing ability, attitude and team fit. If this incident emphasises that, then so be it.

The key now is the reaction of these individuals and whether they now step up and atone for their idiotic mistake or if it affects their playing and attitude in future. In which case, on yer bike you tool, whether you're Choudhury or Maddison.

He definitely is.

I saw him first hand at an NBA after party two years ago alongside Simmo, Chilwell and Gray. This was less than 48 hours before a lunchtime kick off game at wolves.

Maybe he felt relaxed about attending because these parties have been happening all the time during lockdown without anybody finding out? I'd be very surprised if this was an isolated incident. I'm not just talking about our players, of course - I'd imagine players from all clubs have been doing it over the past year. It's just that mostly they get away with it.

Yeah okay... but lets not be holier than thou, shall we?

This is football! Its not an opportunity to win football nice guy of the year award, we as fans want wins, and trophies, even European adventures! So I'd love a team of tea totalers, who are faithful to their wives, love dogs and taking walks in the rain.

But if we need to win, that all goes out of the window. As long as we are not fielding criminals, its the way things have always been.

Now the 5 players should all face the fines that the government have threatened the population with, now lets move on and finish 3rd, with Maddison & Barnes back in the team once fit enough, and making positive contributions.

I’d like to think we can pretty much all concur that the actions of the aforementioned have had a significant detrimental impact on the club

Now I think we need to leave it and move on. There is no doubt about it that having Maddison in the team makes us a better team. If he wants to leave at the end of the season, let him leave knowing he’s helped the club clinch a CL spot

Couldn't agree more.

As many have said I think its now up to those involved to step up and ensure they have exemplary performances on the pitch whenever the opportunity is given to them.

They have to realise its not just Leicester City fans looking at them now. They have had a lot of negative press over the incident, and the fastest way to change the subject is to put in performances for people to talk about instead.

....I totally agree with the highlighted bit!!!

There is a lot of people saying the one match ban will have taught them a lesson because they missed an important game. This upcoming game is even bigger and yet we chose to bring them immediately back in the fold and are now conveniently available. Missing the cup game would shine a greater light on them, but their exclusion would draw the ire of the supporters, and the spotlight would then be on the club and manager as it would be viewed as a farcical decision, in light of the perception of what they had done.

More likely is that he has cost the club a CL spot... The West Ham game was pivotal.

What they did was wrong but **** me some moral high ground being taken in here. I’ll be honest I don’t give a **** what they did because I don’t think it’s even that bad, only reason it’s frustrated me is because of the impact it’s had on the team.

I think most of us don't care what they do in their private lives, but I think most people are peeved because it could of put the rest of the first team in jeopardy, could you imagine the crap on here if half the first team were down with covid!   Can't they have waited just a few more weeks, then do what the hell they like.

I’d seen people saying they’d not been fined but hadn’t actually read any proper reports until Percy’s most recent article.

Wow.

I mean as I keep saying there is no punishment that will really hurt them, I don’t see being dropped as a punishment not when it’s a case of feet up or going out playing golf and a fine doesn’t hurt them on what they earn but to learn they’ve not been fined anyway. Disgraceful.

Hoping Kasper and Vardy make them feel tiny in order to learn tomorrow (Which I suspect they already have before now).

Yep agreed but to see many fans sitting here saying they should be sacked and they’re terrible human beings - ffs give it a rest. Young lads go to a gathering whoopdy doo

Why has this turned into a witch hunt against Maddison?  I was as annoyed as everyone else on Sunday but at the lot of them not just one person.

The papers berating him, people on here calling him a ****, pundits saying he deserves not to be in the England team and vitually no mention of the others involved.

Was he stupid - Obviously and I am sure he regrets it. If we miss out on top 4 by a couple of points or even 1 point he and the others will have to accept all the finger pointing they will get.

He is our most creative player and I for one will get behind him when he plays again, just like the rest of them.

Hating for mistakes is pointless. If he learns from it and it makes him and others better and more dedicated players then that will only be a positive in the long run for Leicester.

Go James, score the winner on Sunday and **** the haters.  :trumpet:

Because, let's be honest, of the three fit players he's comfortably the best and the only one most fans want in the team so naturally we're more annoyed he's not.

Footballers are idiots, we’ve seen it many times. Yes they should be idols but they in no way should be role models or treated as such. In this day and age where they are paid astronomical sums of money and are idolised by many fans for doing something we all wish we could do and have a talent that we can only dream of, they are still young men and will act as young men do. The only difference is there every move is reported on and on step out of line means all hell breaks loose. So let’s move on and hope they get back to playing how we all know they can.

Can the thread be closed now? Matter seems dealt with and the most important thing (sadly not us, the fans) is that the club and Rodgers have moved on from the incident.

Not sure what else there is to discuss :dunno:
