This has a bit of a feeling of the Valkyrie film Tom Cruise was in.... how long can those still in it kid themselves that it’s still happening?

2022 Super LeagueTM Final at the Qatar Vagina Stadium

Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur - the only two teams that actually stayed in the competition.

0-0

Harry Kane comes off the bench for Liverpool in the 68th minute.

He scores against his former club.

Liverpool win the Super League Trophy.

Tottenham somehow still finish third.

Spurs would finish behind Spurs B.

Spurs can stay in it and compete on their own, they’d still manage to finish third. 🤡

2 clubs withdrawing so The Spuds can now finish a place higher 😂

Everyone now applauding Chelsea and Man City and any other club now getting cold feet? Fvck that. They've shown their true colours now. This doesn't change anything. They still don't give a shit about the fans and will run at any other given opportunity to screw fans over. They don't get my applause and this whole episode definitely won't get forgotten. I hope that's the same for anyone, be it a fan of these clubs or not.

They must be punished

They can't be forgotten. They intended to rip apart the league system and now take it back with the uproar.

Fantastic. The whole house of cards is crumbling after 48 hours.

The backlash from clubs, fans, pundits etc has ensured this bastard is strangled at birth

UEFA should make no concessions to these ****ers. No wild cards, no more money

They bluffed, we called it. It's over

This isn't the end of it. It's a temporary reprieve unless something major is done. They will think of something else.

As if being an automatic wildcard for the Champions League isn't enough.

I'm quite surprised that this is collapsing. I guess we should thank PSG and Bayern. NOT Man City Chelsea or whoever else got cold feet after it was announced.

Points deduction for all 6

Not just for this season too. Make them have a European ban too.

I would ban them all from European competition next season. I'd also give them a two year transfer embargo, and fine them at least £100m each, but that money will be fed down to the lower league clubs.

Possibly a points deduction too.
