He was given many chances to prove himself and stake his claim, and he never took the opportunity with us. Letting him leave was best for both parties, we've won silverware and he has had a great start to his Everton career and best of luck to him. 3

Imagine this more lenient reffing with Maddison and Perez playing against Tarkowski, Mee, Wood and Barnes.
