From a YouTube I watched yesterday he popped up all the way across the front 3 behind the striker. Yes we want a right winger first and foremost but being comfortable anywhere across that 3 is good, I wouldn’t say Barnes or Maddison are as flexible. Gives us more options. Get it done please.

The link of willing to loan makes me think that’s why we are now after him, only concern is he smashes it West Brom come back up and he costs a fortune next summer as they want him in the squad.

With an obligation to buy could work for all?

I could only imagine a loan offer with agreed price to buy at the end of it, would be satisfactory for us, if we are needed to put a fee into another position. But I would think West Brom would be happier with cash now, even if we'd pay all the wages with fee on loan. If another party is interested (West Ham), we might not get him. Though that's me speculating without knowing what their finances are like.

Would give a healthy balance as he's got a lot of the raw attributes that we missed at times last season. His numbers are good and actually, from the West Brom games I caught last season, they would have been substantially better had he not been playing with one of the worst strikers going.

Him, Adli and Kabak for a combined 35m and i'll go into the new season with every confidence we'll improve on 5th.

Keepers - Kasper, Ward

Fullbacks - Ricardo, Castagne, Justin, Bertrand, Thomas, Daley-Campbell

Centre backs - Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu, Kabak

Defensive midfielders - Ndidi, Mendy, Hamza

B2B midfielders - Tielemans, Soumare, KDH

Attacking midfielders - Maddison, Praet, Perez

Wingers - Barnes, Pereira, Albrighton, Adli

Strikers - Vardy, Daka, Iheanacho

Very solid squad that. Could sell Perez and Hamza and let VD-C go to a Championship side on loan to bring the numbers down.

We would have to pay somebody to take Ayoze right now and are we paying Dan and Soumaré to do nothing.

To be fair we are paying Dan to do nothing at present.

We wouldn't, there would be plenty of clubs willing to take him. He's not as bad as people like to make out. He's just not good enough to be regularly playing for us. A move would be good for him. Back to Newcastle perhaps?

Taking Perez & Choudhury/Mendy in part exchange for Periera would be a great deal for WBA, oh and us…

We sign Soumare and he can't get in the squad. Or my eyes playing me up?

People might take him but they're hardly going to pay much for him. If he can't score or assist in a very decent talented Leicester City side, of what use is he to a lesser equipped side. Bar one half decent season at Newcastle he was poor there too. He's been poor for years now.

The 'He's clearly got some ability ', 'he runs round a lot ',  'he's got a nice touch', 'he can close people down' are no longer  good reasons for playing him, they're just tired and worn out platitudes. He's nowhere near good enough and I would be absolutely amazed if any other Premiership club would risk their money on him. He'll just be a money pit like Silva and Slimani until he gets a loan somewhere or a move to a foreign club.

He's far better than Silva, Slimani, Musa etc.

Why does every thread end up talking/slating Perez?

You’ll have to find someone to moan about should he leave.

Oh don't you worry. That's a certainty to happen.

Villareal have a few quid but they'd want better.
