At first glance this might make no business sense but what about paying a charity to have their name on our shirt? Yes, we'd be losing revenue in that area from a paying sponsor but we'd be further emaphasiing our ethical principles on a global scale.

Imagine walking around with Cancer Research or some other charity that resonates with every corner of the globe. To me that would be priceless and make me so proud.

These so called Charities are just as dirty as the gambling industry, examples are the owner's of Man city, UAE and UNICEF who were used to spin a positive image of the Owners and UAE regarding using poor underage kids as call jockey's when the some American politican started a court case against them. These Charities are just as corrupt and dodgy as any other large organizations.

In a normal world would be all for this, in this world unfortunately don’t think it’s really viable with the current financial landscape.

Oh I totally understand that. It's a real shame.

Some are yes but the vast majority are absolutely squeaky clean.

Sorry I'm struggling to understand what you've posted there but I think you're trying to say large charities, such as Cancer Research, are rife with corruption?

Their website states that 73 per cent of traders lose money with them. It also possible to lose more than you staked. You'd have to be stupid to go anywhere near FBS.

That's not just FBS, consider if you're trading CFD's. They're very highly leveraged, so can go up or down very quickly. Because they're purchased on margin, you can lose more than is in your account.

In the UK, every brokerage that allows CFD trading will have a similar warning to that above:

The brokers aren't placing orders on your account...

Yup, execution only, the value of your investments can go up and down is standard warning in the SIPP and investment industry, standard with high risk. Usually high net worth and sophisticated investors who can afford to make losses.

We still don’t know how much exactly the deal is worth but we might get an idea quite soon. If we sign a winger and only lose squad players we can probably assume the deal was worth a lot given we didn’t qualify for the Champions League.

How much did King Power pay for sponsorship before? Seems the FBS deal should be useful as it’s clearly more than the rest of the pack (until Newcastle get their Saudi backing sorted of course)

Pretty sure it was around the £4m area

Liverpool getting less sponsorship than Spurs, bloody hell.

Biggest of the "other 14" by a country mile at 18M/year, 50% more than Hammers, almost twice Everton.

Excuse me while I return to Susan Whelan's altar to worship anew.

Though I do wonder if any of that is contingent on being in Europe ...

I can't imagine Rwanda get much of a ROI on the £10m they pay Arsenal for sleeve sponsorship

I started to laugh and then took a minute to look up their GDP.  10 billion US$.  So well over a tenth of a percent of it goes to Kroenke and Co.

From a country where "almost 90 percent of the population lives on less than US$2 per day and half of its population lives on less than US$1 per day."
