we've got and had several, but because they are right footed no one says a damn thing about it

I’ve always been really annoyed by KDH and his one footed style. But i was thinking this the other day. We don’t even notice it. Still no excuse either way for a young player to be like this

no but unless people are going to call out all the right footed players doing the same thing this  really shouldn't be used as a reason to criticise KDH

Agreed. Something I remember from earlier on in the season - Praet has been through on goal twice, and on both occasions the better choice would have been to use his left. Instead he went with his right. Missed both chances. Can't recall any criticism of him for this at the time - no doubt because he is right footed, or because there is no 'extremely-one-footed' label stuck on him by some of our not-so-bright fans. I would venture to suggest that there are a hell of a lot of right-footed players who are way more one-footed than KDH.

p.s. in the interests of fairness, I should probably disclose that I am left-footed...

Makes me think Mavididi was reading all the comments online about him shooting instead of passing to his teammates. At the start of the season he scores that easily (but he is also a lot less selfish than he was back then as well)

Thing is KDH is extremely one-footed and lots of left footed players seem to be, but then on the other hand we've had players in the last few years off the top of my head who were just as one footed such as Ulloa, Chilwell, Ritchie de Laet, Wes Morgan

But the real reason he gets so criticised is he plays in the centre of the park where you can't get away with it. Cant remember us having too many central midfielders this one footed recently if ever.

He was pretty much unplayable tonight and easily our best player Though we had afew really good performances. Faes, Winks, Mav  Were all 8s tonight but I thought KDH was magnificent and worthy of a 9.  The length he ran with the Ball outpacing the Defenders ( reminscent of the Winks Goal ) and still had the presence to score was amazing.

When was the last time we had someone run the length of the pitch carrying the ball and scoring on their own. ?

I couldn’t agree anymore.

A realization though that only two people commented on his thread when clearly a MoTM performance but would be two pages (or more) if he had a stinker 🤯

He was absolutely superb last night, he is one who has really kicked on under Maresca, yes it is at a lower level but he is thriving on the additional responsibility and he has improved massively technically, tactically and in his decision making.

KDH is one of a number of players who we should have in the match squad if we go up to prem:

Hermansen, Ricardo, Winks, Mavididi , KDH, Fatawu are bolted on

Ndidi, Iheanacho, Daka, Vardy i can see retiring / moving on.

Centre backs all need changing for prem quality equivalents as theyve been found wanting before.

At least though we have a platform from which to build back, only two of which were tainted by relegation.
