Don't know who the BT Sport co-commentator was today but so much better than the usual Steve McManamanaman. She made some thoughtful and intelligent comments and actually sounded like she was watching the game.

Patson Daka produced probably the finest performance by a Foxes player in European competition with all four goals as they fought back from 2-0 down to beat Spartak Moscow and revive their chances of qualifying for the last 32 of the Europa League.

Impressed with the Spartak fans ; very welcoming. The few I caught on the train before gave us some of their brandy and said that they hoped they won but that Vardy scored.

Good win and a brilliant performance by Daka. We need to play him more, he's a cracking striker.

Usual piss poor defending though. The 2nd goal for them came from pissing around at the back AGAIN and this terrible obsession we have with trying to pass it out from the back. Just clear the bastard ball! Gonna cost us so many times this season. 

 

Oh and Vestergard just reinforced what an absolutely terrible defender he is.

What we did to Man United we did to Sparta today, the clever passing from the midfield is unstoppable.. Youri, Madders and Soumare along with others are producing some very clever passes and its helping us go directly through teams and then we have the strikers to finish it off.. I can see us being deadly from here on in.

I need to watch the game again as I'm not that happy with today's performance but we simply had to win so I'm thankful for that.

 

Didn't like how we defended, didn't like how poor Ricardo and Thomas were 1st half but did improve in the 2nd and I didn't like the subs at all bar Albrighton, the other 3 were crap. KDH on for Tielemans would have been more welcome and I'd have put Lookman or Barnes on for Evans rather than bring that shit house on who immediately gifted them a 3rd goal.

 

Sensational performances in the 2nd half though from Iheanacho, Youri, Maddison, Soumare and Daka. Absolutely electric stuff.

Not a chance he will be on the bench, wouldn't be surprised to see some weird 3-4-1-2 system with Ndidi in a back 3 on the ball but off it he pushes out as the ball winner and Soumare is the box to box player.

Doesn't matter how we won, all that matters is that we did. Crucial 3 points and the group is now finely balanced. Daka fantastic.

Obviously the defence is a worry but I'll take exciting forward play and winning games over what we have seen recently- stodgy attacking play and also conceding loads of goals.

 

I really think the more Jonny plays, the more assured at the back we will look.
