even if the lads had lost that which they could of had liverpool finished chances

 

the effort level second half was what the club has been about for five years

 

It was back tonight

 

Thats all it is running back and forth leaving every drop out there

 

with no rest they had no right putting that effort out, every one of them should be so ****ing proud , amartey was god like tonight

That was incredible. Liverpool never really looked like scoring after we went ahead.

 

It’s not just the result, it’s the type of performance that you want to see. For too long we have defended too passively and been too easy to play through, today we were really dogged and fully deserved the win. Incredible given the circumstances.

Tonight just proves it doesn't matter who's on the pitch, if you're willing to throw yourself in the way of everything time after time, you've always got a chance of defending. 

 

Wes Morgan wasn't the best defender in the world, he was never going to win a Ballon D'or but fvck he'd put his life on the line if it got a clean sheet. 

 

This is the first all season we've defended with complete and total conviction. Bodies everywhere.

Outstanding ...........10/10 everyone. Defending was superb , What a magnificent team performance. The best of the season without doubt.

KDH, Thomas and Kasper were utterly sublime. 

 

What a defensive performance. Backs to the wall and stood strong. Superb.
