In all seriousness, this is great news. There's real signs he's getting back to his best IMO.

Good news, I think 3(+ 1 or 2 optional extension) years would have been more sensible though given his injuries.

Fantastic news! One of the best full backs in the EPL when fully fit and on form. He's had such a hard time with injuries the past couple of seasons, but the past few months were just the result of an assault, so hopefully (touch wood) he can put that behind him now. Was very impressive in his last game.

Ricardo on his day is an utter beast. Having him injury free, fully fit and firing consistently, without the contract headache will be a dream.

He’s had an op on his hammy so that should be sorted
