Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 6 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 July 2022 (edited) Even if Youri signs a one year extension, it would be prudent to have his replacement at the club so we can bed him in gradually for next season. This guy’s style of play is very similar to Tielemans so would make a lot of sense to sign him. Edited 6 July 2022 by StriderHiryu 8
moore_94 Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 What a coincidence… On their official website, the statement reads: “Orkun Kökcü returns early from the training camp in Austria. The midfielder is ill and has to miss the remaining training sessions and the exhibition game against RB Salzburg later this week.” https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-transfer-theory-kokcu-7302623 3 1

Simoken Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 I think this has legs, can see him being our first signing.

Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 7 July 2022 Popular Post Posted 7 July 2022 I cannot emphasise how good this lad is. He plays with high energy, purpose and seldom will play a negative pass. He's always looking to progress his team up the pitch. 9 1

Dahnsouff Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 First sign of their fans saying hye may be moving, but do I not like those names.... 1
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Watched the standard highlight reel. Looks to have a real all round game. Dribbling, passing, shooting etc. Definitely technically good. But it's a highlight reel so I take it all with a pinch on salt. But he could be a gem in the making. Fingers crossed.

And then bench Tielemans until he runs round a bit more and stops gesticulating like a big Jesse as if he's vaguely in control of themidfield. If he's not prepared to work hard for his wages then scupper his international prospects and big club Champions League ambitions by not playing him at all. 3

What I mean is, all clubs fans do the same thing - they convince themselves that all the big clubs are after their best players and that, by extention, he's not going to end up at little Leicester. It's quite likely that those clubs aren't actually seriously interested in making an offer. 1

davieG Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 Feyenoord will do ‘everything in their power’ to keep midfielder Orkun Kökcü at the club this summer amid interest from Leicester City. That’s according to Algemeen Dagblad, who say the 21-year-old has not left the Dutch side’s training camp in Austria for transfer talks. http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-will-everything-power-keep-leicester-target-absence-due-illness/
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 That's them bumping up the price. I think he'll leave there for sure, but whether he comes here remains to be seen.

Shane Posted 7 July 2022 Posted 7 July 2022 (edited) A bit worried about his defensive stats, quite similar to Tielemans output but in a much worse league https://www.squawka.com/en/comparison-matrix/?compare=q96hFwwkucjuY1WPIgkJa he does look like one of the best replacements for youri though and hopefully we can develop the defensive side of his game. Hard to gauge defensive attributes when he plays for Feyenoord.
