I'm not overly-happy with a choice of Ward or Iversen either but this seems extreme.

It will certainly bring a new dimension to our Goalkeeping.  Ward is going to have to excel to keep Iversen out, So that will keep him on his Toes.

It will also be interesting to see another style of Goalkeeping and how we defend set pieces.

Lets look on it as a new beginning.

Think it will be this

Praet Vardy Maddison

Dewsbury-Hall Ndidi Tielemans

Justin Fofana Evans Castagne

Really capitalise on our midfield advantage by playing 5 of them :P

Totally this. Can see ndidi being swapped with Mendy as usual and the rest playing out most of the 90 mins.

This is the side I WANT to play. (Perhaps Daka instead of Nacho)

Same line of thinking as me, but for what it's worth I think the 4-3-3 should work decently enough against Brentford and we have good attacking options off the bench to move to 4-3-1-2 if necessary

If Rodgers want to prove he's serious about getting Praet committed to Leicester again. starting him in the opener would be a good first step.

Yeah I’d imagine this will be what we go for.

I wouldn't be against that and it could well be the line-up that we see tomorrow assuming Wes is fit - if not surely just a straight swap for Cags

You're probably right, Maddison has become able to still effect games from the right but as Brendan glowingly said on that interview released yesterday, he comes alive in that half space in the 8/10 role and playing a 4-3-3 with Tielemans and KDH already in there makes it impossible to then get Maddison in his central role.

Praet played the RW or LW role for Torino last season and although that's not my solution to our problems particularly, I'd much rather he was sold and we get an actual right winger in, I think benching Tielemans whilst he plays silly beggars allows us to play 4-2-3-1 instead or 4-1-4-1 where KDH and Maddison push up with Wilf sitting and Praet tucking in on the RW.

Playing Praet ahead of Castagne seems the best option based on who is available. Opportunity for Praet to maybe get a run and nail down a starting place / assuming there are no last minute deals including that RW.

True I’m not sure on Fofanas situation, I’d swap him for Cags personally but does Rodgers rate Amartey over him? Also obviously could be Ward in goal too.

Seeing some horrendous starting line ups here.

For me:

                      Iversen

Castagne Fofana Evans Justin

                       Ndidi

             Youri            KDH

                    Maddison

           Kelechi          Vardy

I wouldn’t be surprised if Brendan matches them and goes 5-3-2. Also wouldn’t be shocked if either Fofana or Youri are left out until after the transfer window.

Bar a miracle, going to miss this with COVID ☹️

Fvck. First Kasper goes, Youri and Maddison and Wes on their way out. Ricardo and Barnes out with injury. Vestergaard a big loss imminent.

Now we've lost @Cardiff_Fox from the stands :(

....Iversen and Ward trained by the same coach!!!

There is no reason for there to be a difference between the styles and will have the same limitations. Iversen may have been encouraged on loan to come off his line, but I suspect his first thought will be to stay on his line.

What a load of rubblish!

Evans, Vestiguarrd, Amartey, Soyuncu, and Fofana are all trained by the same coach, how come they don't all pay in the same style as CBs?

They do?

They may have different capabilities of what they're comfortable with and they might not be suited to it, hence why some of them look so bad but there lies the problem.
