Happy Fox Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 https://soccernet.ng/2022/08/fenerbache-contact-leicester-city-for-super-eagles-star-report.html/amp Per reports in the Turkish media, Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are interested in the services of Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho. Iheanacho has been with Leicester since August 2017 after joining from Manchester City for over €27 million. The 25-year-old’s five-year stay with the Foxes may, however, be drawing to an end, with Fenerbahce making him their number transfer target this summer. According to the Turkish news outlet Futbol Meydani, the former Turkish champions have contacted Leicester City regarding a move for the Nigeria international. Negotiations are reportedly progressing positively, with Fenerbahce offering to take Iheanacho on a season-long loan, with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign. Popular Post desertfox2 Posted 21 August 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 21 August 2022 No thanks. Typical Turkish enquiry. Loan for a season and an "option" to buy. At the moment we need to be playing him more not sending him out.
Popular Post FoxesWalk Posted 21 August 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 21 August 2022 I hope Brendan goes before he does, quality player with good end product. Not given enough game time.
StanSP Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 No. Iheanacho has to stay. Used right, he could be lethal.

fox_favourite Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 (edited) In a front 2 and a run, think he could be good. He’s definitely not a striker that can play up top on his own. Keep for me. Edited 21 August 2022 by fox_favourite

lcfc sheff Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 For his own sake I hope he can find the right club. If I had it my way I’d be playing him in a 4411/442 back to basics and build from there
Verumex Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 He's way too good for the Turkish league. With our winger issues, we really should be playing a formation that allows for 2 strikers, and Iheanacho would then be allowed to flourish. Danny280995 Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 No point selling him, it's to late in the window, we're screwed this season, Top needs to come out a make a statement and explain what's exactly happened
JimJams Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Unless we're bringing goals in, we can't be shipping goals out.
Ric Flair Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Hahahahaa absolutely no point loaning him unless it's an obligated fee next summer north of £25m which no Turkish side would ever pay. Iheanacho, along with Soyuncu are absolute mysteries that there aren't a queue of teams looking to pick a player up who has proven in patches to be excellent players and likely on reasonable wages compared to most and still only 25-27 which is perfect ages for many teams. Just two reasons I think. We want too high a fee and value for money not there. Personally I rate both players but the Irishman doesn't.
Popular Post AjcW Posted 21 August 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 21 August 2022 We’ll really regret selling iheanacho before bringing in a manager who knows what to do with him. I think if he went to a Brighton or even maybe Newcastle he’d have the same impact Jesus is having at Arsenal
Grebfromgrebland Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Rather than getting rid of players we should just change the manager first and let them decide who goes! 3

I think if he went to a Brighton or even maybe Newcastle he’d have the same impact Jesus is having at Arsenal This is why I don't want him to leave. He needs a manager that believes in him and once that's in place, he's clearly very effective. Going somewhere else, where he's been given a solid chance and faith, will result in him banging in plenty of goals/assists. And we'll be seething at another poor transfer decision. Thankfully I can't see Newcastle going for him - They forked out money for Wood in January and have Wilson there. Brighton could be a logical choice considering Maupay/Forest transfer. Danny280995 Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 To late for that, if brendan goes new manager wont have time to decide who goes and he wants, our summer finish, Fofana and tielemans need to go, but we won't buy replacements it's to late for that
Corky Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Probably the most effective player in the last 18 months (Maddison aside). Manager seems to resent it. Don't sell, another manager could use his quality.
coolhandfox Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Don't sell a goal scorer, especially if we are going to be fighting at the wrong end of the table.
whoareyaaa Posted 21 August 2022 Share Posted 21 August 2022 Lets get rid of the manager first.. we can't score goals yet have one of the most effective players on the bench every week. Rodgers is ****ing shit 3
