The People's Hero Posted 30 August 2022 Posted 30 August 2022 Possibly a little over rated just as he spent time at Barcelona; but there's no doubting he's got something about him. I think he's 6 feet+ tall and reasonably mobile. Is there any suggestion he's actually for sale though?

Mh, Nice have spent a moderate amount of money for them and they got Todibo cheap considering Barca's previous valuations of him (he went for less than 10 up front, they'd wanted 20-30 odd previously.) They quite possibly see him as a chance to cash in and make a quick profit, I imagine he'd cost us at least 20. He did little of note at Schalke or Benfica but was a regular fixture for a decent enough Nice side (only two players in the whole squad played more, they finished 5th with the joint best defensive record in the league along with PSG.) Would be a better transfer than Akanji or Diallo who are train wrecks and I imagine cost less than Demiral.
kingfox Posted 30 August 2022 Posted 30 August 2022 @LVocey just hit the nail on the head, he is very much in the same mould as Fofana. He’s had a mixed start to the season, I watched him against Toulouse where he looked fantastic, had a solid performance against Strasbourg, then got sent off against Clermont Foot. Doubt he would be available though, but he does fit the mould in the type of CB we need.

Very small sample size but over 75% win rate this year. How many promising young CBs can one country have? Lol
