He’s been saying this for months though? He said they weren’t good enough to beat Forest when they were in Championship. And he’s been hinting that the board haven’t supported him all summer.

 

Obviously he’s talking nonsense still, this squad is more than good enough to finish in the top half, but this comment is nothing new.

Part of all the negativity at the moment is that our dirty laundry is being aired in public, and there are skid marks in everyone’s pants.

Rodgers has spoke alright on BBC Radio Leicester. We did need investment. What can he say? The players are clearly working hard but we're crying out for more quality in wide areas and composure in the final third. Not investing this summer could be a costly mistake.

But he's also right in some ways we have pocketed 70m and spent 15m

 

We were told we need to trade player to bring players in which wasn't really the case. We have sold 70m worth of player as well as stripping 7m of the wage bill.

 

We need a RW, and get no one.
