I’m down here in Brighton and I’d give my left b@lock for 3 points today

Hopefully you'll give your right next week for 3 more against villa and by 4:50pm next Saturday you'll be bollockless

Sadly I’d rather see us lose than scrape a draw that papers over the cracks. What ever it takes to get Brendan out the door.

I think if it was literally a case of a guarantee that a loss today would 100% see the back of him I’d reluctantly take that deal (for the greater good of the future of the club). We have no idea what Top/Ruskin/Susan are actually thinking so I can’t want us to actively lose as it could be the same next week and the one after. Clearly wouldn’t go on indefinitely but maybe too late to rescue the season.

SADLY!!  I find it beyond belief a true supporter would rather we lose.  I have lost faith in Rodgers  but if I ever get to the stage where I would rather lose then its time to jog on and support another team....both suggestions are as stupid as the other

Bonkers - I presume you’re not paying X amount for a ticket today or X amount on travel/food.

I think that's the formation we will go with but it will be Big Dan or even Vesty instead. Can't see Cags playing again under Rodgers going by Rodgers recent comments.

I hate to see Leicester fans not wanting to win.   It's a crap attitude.

Me too. I also hate to see fans of our club blindly backing a manager that repeatedly disrespects the club and is failimg to do his job

They absolutely would, say what you like about Rodgers but he is a decent manager with a CV better than most in outside the top six.
When he leaves here, on his track record he will undoubtedly and quite easily get another job in the Premier League with a club who wants to push into the top six.
It’s not going great for him or the club on many levels right now, but that doesn’t make him a bad manager.

Look at others at similar levels - Moyes, Howe, Potter etc. all like Rodgers have been through good and bad spells in their careers, but ultimately you are judged on the trophies you win and your final league positions. - in this no manager outside the top six can compete with Rodgers - whether he can turn it around here or not is another question and whether he needs a fresh start somewhere else to refresh is also a possibility.

However, when any job comes up outside the top six he will be on the shortlist and discussed in every board room.

Yes and No, the longer he stays here the more exposed he is becoming, undoubtedly had success, no question, however I dont think any of the top 6, or those wanting  to disrupt the top 6 will want him now, he is and will always be a short term, walk in suck the life out of a club, then move on type of guy, when the real works needed he folds, his CV may look good on paper, but everyone has gotten the measure of him now, he wont get better than us now.

If we go back to basics, we will win. Because we have the quality to do so. This is the most annoying thing when stubborn managers don’t go back to just letting the players do what they’re good at. There’s no reason why we can’t tweak the approach to be more counter attacking based for a bit, make ourselves hard to beat, and then look to use the pace we have to hurt teams. Rather than this shit slow ponderous football we are playing at the moment. Surely at some point Brendan has to see this and change it? If he doesn’t it just proves he really doesn’t give a toss if we win or lose.

If the leaked team is correct, I like we are going with 2 strikers but Thomas over Castagne is laughable from Rodgers.

We’re not or can’t be doing counter attack tactics at the minute because our defence is crap and will just concede if we try and defend first!

Also the pace in our team has disappeared, vardy is not the vardy of old speed wise and we only have Barnes with any pace at all. all part of the problem of why we are crap at the moment

I’m praying we can find something from somewhere and get a result.

That said I’ve seen Faes flying into tackles on YouTube so I’ve had £5 on him picking up a card.

Not necessarily, because you set yourselves up to be hard to beat. Our defence is crap because of the way we play, we leave ourselves too open and get caught with our slow ponderous football and then leave the back line exposed.

We do still have pace to burn. Bothe Castagne and JJ are fast, Barnes is fast and Vardy still has enough pace, when he is in the mood. Plus we have Daka, who would be perfect for counter attacking football, and not dropping into midfield to pick the ball up.

This team would be well capable of playing counter attacking football. And it really needs to be looked at as an option.

Are you new to the forum?

Rodgers is not blindly backed.   I have not seen a Rodgers in post recently.
