Goal and two assists, only makes the case stronger for him to be playing more. BR has explained why he hasn’t, but can’t help thinking we’ve missed out not playing Kelechi enough. Yes he has his downfalls but seems to me to have more of an influence than Daka and probably the better option (at least for the time being). Not to say Patson isn’t more suited to certain games but I’m yet to be fully convinced. We need more from PD in my opinion.

Because if you actually watch him play, he's absolutely dogjib. Next thread

Anything to say? He might not be Pele - but unless you are blind you must accept that he makes things happen?

Wish he would get a run of games. With Tete joining, it means Maddison will be more central hopefully as a 10. Iheanacho wouldn't be as isolated up top by himself with Maddison around.

Also with Barnes and Tete getting forward, he could drop abit deeper like Firmino does.

I know exactly what you mean

He’s playing like a false 9 and coming deeper so the wingers and Maddison can go past him. It really suits his skill set as he’s not an in behind striker.

Been saying that's the way he can play as a lone striker; having runners go beyond. He also plays very well with his back to goal (not so much today because it was such a scrappy game)

Brendan completely right not to play him until today. Ihaenacho comes short and without a proper right sided wide player we don't have enough in behind. With Tete in the side now he has the balance in the front four to play him . What a manager.

I said he shouldn't start. I was wrong. Was brilliant today and really wished he's put away that chance at the start of the 2nd half.

Out of interest, why didn't you you want him to start? I'm quite curious as to why people wouldn't want him in the team

He can be a huge frustration and the lone striker role doesn't suit him (not anyone to be fair). If Tete continues to play at a high level i think the width will create more chances for anyone playing central, including Daka.

Iheanacho has flaws but is a lot more of a well-rounded player than Daka. Importantly he's also clinical, despite a bad miss in the second half. Give him enough chances, I trust Nacho to score. Daka I think needs a lot more work, though he can be a good option on the counter attack.

The main question is why the **** has Nacho been sat watching for most of the season?!

Get quality wide players and attacking midfield options around him and he will find them and score goals himself

Nailed on to score today. Two assists though!

Seemed to tire out second half but not surprising considering how much he hustled about. You can't drop him.

Nacho is flawed but he gets involved and creates chaos and makes things happen, Daka doesn’t that’s the difference. Nacho had a big role in 3 goals today because he got involved himself and didn’t rely on others to play him in a certain way like Daka does.

If Daka had played today we’d have lost 2-1 but they’d still be people saying “it’s not Daka’s fault, he’s a quality player but he got no service”

Have a day off man, no one dislikes or thinks Iheanacho is crap they can just acknowledge we won't get the best out of Daka with our form or how we've played this season.
