Stevosevic Posted 29 October 2022 Posted 29 October 2022 Need a win or it’s bottom 3 for the World Cup break. 2
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 29 October 2022 Popular Post Posted 29 October 2022 We are going to have to get used to being in and around the relegation zone for at least another 5-10 games and possibly more. When you go on the horror run we have done at the start of the season, there's then very little margin for error. We cannot afford another medium to long spell of not winning matches either. These next 2 games it's imperative we get at least 1 win and ideally 4 points minimum. I do fancy us to get something from both, defensively we look in much better control. Tielemans is in a rich vein of form and the movement of the team looks to be much improved. Ward Castagne Amartey Faes Justin Tielemans Ndidi Praet Maddison Barnes Daka 6
Foxxed Posted 29 October 2022 Posted 29 October 2022 Hugely important match to see if we can stay up with Brendan.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Despite our up turn in confidence we’ll go into the Everton game with me thinking we’ll get turned over. We should beat them really. Tbh we have a better starting 11. But I ain’t confident we will.
AyewJoking Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Nailed on defeat. Bet even Richarlson will get one! 4
Nicolo Barella Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Everton have had strong defensive form at home, but we should be able to win this.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 30 October 2022 Popular Post Posted 30 October 2022 This squad of ours should be nowhere near the relegation zone. I know it's not healthy to hark on about what's been and done but anything but 4-6 points from these next two games isn't good enough for us. We have to head in to the World Cup break in a positive manner. 10
KrefelderFox666 Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Out of the next 2 games this is the one we have to win. If we only win 1 of the 2 it has to be this. We really need 3 points minimum from the next 2 matches. 4 would be excellent.

As long as Brendan gets the team right, get the early goal then it’s there for the taking. 4 would be great but 6 is possible 1

And arguably, Everton and West Ham have been horribly inconsistent this season and both there for the taking if we execute a game plan well. Both games require a good performance regardless. Was at the London stadium for the game last year and don't want anything like that again. 2

Pliskin Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 These are beyond dog shit, we absolutely have to win. 1
cruzFOX Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Must must MUST WIN! it will be a grind and a battle though
filbertway Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 Be a tough game this, Everton are no mugs at home and we're still pretty gash away from home. The next 2 games represent a proper chance to see if things are picking up. 1
Wymsey Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 (edited) They've been lucky over the past few seasons in avoiding relegation, particularly last season. A strange club really; over £500m pumped into them in recent seasons and yet players like Demarai Gray still gets into the starting eleven. Edited 30 October 2022 by Wymsey
MalletFox Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 (edited) These lot are gash! Really really gash, all they are is a set piece threat. Coady, Tarkowski, DCL, Onana, they’ve got some big ol’ lumps but by God they are awful with an awful manager too. They are literally Burnley in a blue kit. Be great if we could stamp some authority on the game and take the lead early! Still fuming from the 2 results against these mugs last season. Edited 30 October 2022 by MalletFox
MattFox Posted 30 October 2022 Posted 30 October 2022 We kept these in the league last season hopefully the repay the favour

Koeman came in with what I thought was a squad of very good players and yet it was a disaster. Steve Walsh Snr. was released but I cannot say that I attribute the problems to who he brought in. There is something just not right about the club and the DoF position needs to be looked at, as everything springs from that. Get the right man in with a plan and a road map to get there and allow him to bring in the manager he believes could achieve this and stop the money drain

Kick-starting the process with 3 points on Saturday of course. 1
MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 31 October 2022 Posted 31 October 2022 This is the first away game of the season that I feel like I might actually go down to the pub and watch.
foxfanazer Posted 31 October 2022 Posted 31 October 2022 The most infuriating results last season were against this shite. Just hope our players can handle that famous Goodison home support! 1 1
Free Falling Foxes Posted 31 October 2022 Posted 31 October 2022 I have it on very good authority that win lose or draw, they'll be some fireworks after this match. 3
